I had bought the game today and began to download projects: hairstyles, quests, and etc for the game but i can't seem to make them available. I went to nexus and gota DAModder and it's not working either. The files I'm able to save them under such as compressed zipped files, as RAR files, but I can't save it under DAZip or anything else. I need help I'm out of options

Use Winzip or Winrar to open the files, in case they dont contain a DAZIP file, they will probably contain a text file called READ ME, I suggesst you read it, it probably contains install instructions and was named as such for you to read.

If it doesnt have a Read Me file you probably have to drop it in Documents/Bioware/Dragon age/packages/core/override , which is the standard override folder, be sure to check out the Qust and Legends one and the Carrion Birds one, 2 of the best I think, cheers

thanks i will try, ive read it and downloaded some stuff it suggested but no luck yet

1. You need some unzipping software. I like 7-zip.
2. Download your file.
3. Go to C:\\Users\\User\\Downloads
4. Right click your file, hover over 7-zip, choose extract.
5. Extract to C:\\Users\\User\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

And you're done for most mods. Some of them have a .exe you have to run to customize things.

If it's a .dazip file, you don't even need to extract it yourself. Go to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship and run daupdater. Then just find your mod in your downloads folder using daupdater and it installs it automatically.
