Given that they are reptiles and terrestrial with head plates the other reference is a terrestrial dinosaur or a modern lizard.

They're just trying to rope in as many random crowds as possible aren't they? Is the next game/book/dlc/whatever going after soccer moms who like Wii fit? How about angry birds players? I hear boating enthusiasts are an untapped market.

Actually if you do a pic search and you take out the ears, it looks like Wrex. Except for the fur, obviously.

Genus? I don't remember writing something about genus.

Why does that Alliance squad mostly look like a group of dorks that couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag?

F troop could probably do more damage than those clowns. Do hispter glasses come equipped with some sort of Reaper killing death ray in the future?

And that's what confuses me. Because Vega had nothing to do with the Normandy before ME3. Right? And Shepard's fate is really the end of the game. So...And Vega wasn't a N7 Special Ops until midway in ME3? I'm nitpicking I guess. It just threw me off.

Vega's not N7. His whole character arc in ME3 is about wavering whether he wants to accept the invitation to N7 training or not. He's just a soldier. I haven't read all the books and comics but as far as I know he didn't really have anything to do with Normandy or Shepard before the end of ME2 but it's likely he idolized Shepard (the savior of Citadel) after the events of ME1. Hence the badge. Of course there could be many explanations. 

Edit: If I understood you correctly, you seem to think Vega's an N7 in the trailer. I don't see any N7 logos. That team's just Alliance kids. 

That's right, it was just N7 training in ME3.

The reason I thought he was N7 was because the narrator said something about them being Special Ops.

I'm just trying to make sense of it. I was with them until the bit flashed about it being a prequel. That's when  all the questions started perculating. Maybe the badge is just him idolizing Shep, et al.

So, are you guys gonna rent it. Buy it?

Not gonna lie, some of that animation looked painful (others use the word "cheap" or "unpolished").

The project itself seems underfunded.  What happened to the era of great traditional animation (east and west)?

I doubt you know what you're talking about with animation because of the vast amount of styles in cartoons, Anime, and CGI.  Its okay if you don't personally like something while you forget that everything isn't designed only for you.

The closest alien that looks like a bat is a Vorcha and Krogans aren't bat like at all.
