Really if the Clone Wars wasn't that good then why is it on its 5th or 6th season and still going strong?  I personally don't mind it or watch it on a regular basis but I won't ignore its success.

I see no reason why it woldn't have based alone on how that studio spawned Appleseed and other successful Anime movies.

Everything is up to opinion while some people are blinded by their bias.

Agreed.  A couple other examples could be the Sarah Connor Chronicles, Dark Angel, Heroes, the Cape, and the Finder got scrapped based on low ratings.

Not really that good a trailer...  especially after how cool the animated  'Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker' trailer was. Mind you im sure they will do a much better pre-launch trailer in due course.

As for its content, raises more questions then answers and doesnt really convince me it will be any good, even though I am interested in it.

Okay, first off, I am not fundamentally opposed to animu-renditions - hell, I am guilty of watching a few of such series beginning to end, I will not deny that - but the style they appear to have chosen for this just seems...wrong.

The Alliance-fellas, Mr Vega included, just look too adolescent. They are supposed to be soldiers, and animu_can_manage to render quite alright looking adults. First erroneous approach to this that puts me off.

Then, the animation-quality, which does not impress me at all. Animu can and does do better than this.

Finally, the whole setup. It is frankly much too bright; bit of a pre-req. of the genre, maybe, but it just does not fit and misses the rather sombre tone of ME3 which it claims to be a prequel of. And animu can aim for darker colourisation and be successful at that.

How interesting and/or necessary exploring Mr Vega's doings and where he is coming from are is a question for another topic. Overall, first impression of mine of this, going by this trailer, is not good.

IM NOT IMPRESSED! I feel about this like i did their "Beta" Ending. It Sucked. And their Efforts to FIX Casey Hudsons Botched and Crappy writing was Luke Warm at best. Glad it was Free cause i wouldnt have paid for that crap. Game was Great out of the gate, but was so limp at the ending even a truckload of Viagra couldnt have fixed that.

They had a chance to Make History with an incredible tale, but instead of coming up with something tottaly ORIGINAL (Ala Indoctrination Theory, the biggest Twisted Mind-Screw ever imagined) they had to COPY someone elses body of Work, CAUSE "SOMEBODY" DOESNT HAVE AN IMAGINATION or the Brass ones to go out on a limb OR keep the promises made to the fans Before launch.

why does it have to be Vega? Any character would be better than Vega, even Jacob would have a more interesting pre ME3 story. But why not use Ashley or Kaiden with them getting their spectre status? What about an episode about Jack becoming a teacher? What about all the others? A series with episodes following different characters each episode would have been cooler too, that way everyone wins.
