Book 11 is pretty boring. Anyway, once you're done with that, you'll get to book 12. Trust me man, it's worth it.

I've liked them all so far. They're all good, in my opinion. Though, I'm really good at trudging. XD

You never though books 7-11 were in any way boring?

Well, I'm on 10 right now. 7-9 had a few slow parts, but for the most part I was perfectly happy with them. ^_^

Book 10 was the most annoying for me. Having half the book take place in one day was a mistake. I liked 11 because I like reading about Mat.

12 while the best book in the Series since 6, lacked Mat for the most part but,

* SPOILER*

Zombies makes up for it.

Good Lord... it's been a long time since I read this series... this LONG ASS series... really enjoyed it though.
And yes I still read allot... in fact I am currently reading DA:O The Calling.

Has anyone read Michael Moorcock? especially the Elric books?

No, but what are they?

The Elric saga is a VERY dark story... Moorcock was tired of the usual cliche's big buff warrior strives to be king... here Elric starts as a king and throws everything away... complete opposite of anything that had been out until then... mminid you he wrote these in the late 60's.
If you like a good dark read... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BOOKS... just dont expect happy go lucky events... oh and the ending will blow your mind.

Well, that DOES seem pretty interesting. I think I'll read it. Thanks for the recommendation.

I read books 1-9 all since school started in September, and I'm about halfway through book 10 now after starting sunday. Am I special?

Well, I couldn't even get through book 8(I read the online summaries of each chapter instead). So yeah, you're pretty special. Thanks for the cookie by the way.

I read the WoT books last summer vacation, so they all kind of blend into one.

Got "The Gathering Storm" for Christmas. Off to the Wiki I go! I needs a refresher...

I have read each book, more then once. I love them. I just finished reading 12 and will now have to wait for book 13 then 14 to come out.

I was sad at the death of Robert Jorden, a very good writer taken early in life.

I was actually surprised that Brandon Sanderson pulled it off! Damn, after the last five books, book 12 really made me happy. Kudos to Sanderson.

Nice to see some more fans in the thread. Once everyone's read book twelve then we can REALLY have a WoT discussion...

Don't have it. I've borrowed all of the books from my Religion teacher 2 or 3 at a time, and book 10 was the third I borrowed for Winter Break. I need to get 11 from her.

Half way through book nine. Haven't been reading much in the past week. I'll make sure I knock out a few chapters each night.

Did anyone else get the impression that book eight was really, really short?
