12 while the best book in the Series since 6, lacked Mat for the most part but,
* SPOILER*
Zombies makes up for it.

Good Lord... it's been a long time since I read this series... this LONG ASS series... really enjoyed it though.
And yes I still read allot... in fact I am currently reading DA:O The Calling.
Has anyone read Michael Moorcock? especially the Elric books?
No, but what are they?
The Elric saga is a VERY dark story... Moorcock was tired of the usual cliche's big buff warrior strives to be king... here Elric starts as a king and throws everything away... complete opposite of anything that had been out until then... mminid you he wrote these in the late 60's.
If you like a good dark read... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BOOKS... just dont expect happy go lucky events... oh and the ending will blow your mind.

Book 10 was the most annoying for me. Having half the book take place in one day was a mistake. I liked 11 because I like reading about Mat.

Zombies make everything better.

Well, that DOES seem pretty interesting. I think I'll read it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well, I couldn't even get through book 8(I read the online summaries of each chapter instead). So yeah, you're pretty special. Thanks for the cookie by the way.

7-9 had a few slow parts, but for the most part I was perfectly happy with them.

I was sad at the death of Robert Jorden, a very good writer taken early in life.

I have read each book, more then once. I love them. I just finished reading 12 and will now have to wait for book 13 then 14 to come out.

I was actually surprised that Brandon Sanderson pulled it off! Damn, after the last five books, book 12 really made me happy. Kudos to Sanderson.

Half way through book nine. Haven't been reading much in the past week. I'll make sure I knock out a few chapters each night.
Did anyone else get the impression that book eight was really, really short?
