I say this having no interest in Platinum whatsoever. Just sounds like a grind.

My N7 rank is 120 just because I have no interest to promote my characters (is there any reason to do so?) and getting kicked from lobby because of that would be quite silly. N7 rank above 120 doesn't tell anything but your interest in promoting characters .

 i would still suggest promoting. you are being stubborn to prove a point and it is going to get you kicked lol.
 you will not be given time to explain yourself, you will probably get all 3 kick votes before you even load in..
 if you really like the game, and want to be taken seriously you need to promote at least a handful of times.
 i can honestly admit i will kick you without even looking at your guns if your n7 level is below 200 in gold.

^^^ This. Lately I've been inundated by the amont of medicore/garbage players with N7 ratings in the 1000-2000 range on gold thinking they're gods. I'm N7 270 and will not promote unless another weekend event demands it. I love being told in lobby I would be "allowed" to stay  by high N7 ranks 2-3000's because they view it a challenge playing with 3 1/2 players. I stayed silent. After extraction I've stomped a mudhole in all their scores playing a BatSent (which was also "made fun of"). I am then promptly kicked from lobby.

Can I get a "cool story bro"? 

i'm an N7 300 and i love showing up N7 multi-thousands+. been playing since day 1 and only promoted for events - don't see the point in playing sub-optimally or promoting. e-penis is just that.

Maps:
You get three more maps: Vancouver, London and Rio.
Vancouver is two-layer structured. The upper level is an office with a lot of covers. Lower level is full of cover and obstacles.
London map is very similar to the place you hold out before firing the thanix missile in Priority:Earth in singleplayer. Additional stairs were added to two sides of the map.
Rio is map with a lot of catwalks and tight corners. I think shotguns will dominant on this map.

What you and a lot of others fail to realize is that if everyone who doesn't promote were to get all their experience counted, there would be a lot more people competing for the top slot and your global ranking would have a lot more competition, saying you'd be in the top ten is presumptuous and likely inaccurate. I'm N7 900 (600 before last promotion weekend, and I'm only as high as that because I don't want unintelligent/uninformed people to kick me for no reason) and all I know is that I'd be around 3000-4000 N7 if I promoted (maybe around 5000 tops, but I don't think it would be quite that much, really not sure honestly, but playing sub-20 characters would have been more difficult/time consuming so with that I doubt it'd be quite so high), but with all the other people who don't promote taken into account, god only knows what global Rank I'd be.

Off subject...your sig....over 8 million with no URs......that would make a grown man cry.

Again, as far as N7 and weapon ranks go...on occasion I do see N7 rank 1 with a lvl 1 char join with the default weapons on an UUG match.  I don't initiate a boot, but I'm not expecting much from that player.  However, if the other 2 players are trying to boot that player, I'm not going to hold up the match and will boot the player.

Bottom line to me....N7 rank and weapon rank mean jack to me.  Just leave the Katana or Scimitar at home

I think that's his point.... he doesn't promote but would be super high if he did? Also... you non promoters are the exception rather than the rule. I don't really care what level or skill you are... as long as you're not an as shat you're welcome anytime.

score sin't eveyrhting. did a run with the PV and a AJ and BS using biotics. AJ laid a bubble and just reaved everything, the BS spammed shockwave setting off every explosion and i smashed everythign in the bubble. suffice it to say i gut a ton of asissts but not many kills cause it all went to teh bubble and reave. teh AJA outscored everyone by far but didn't mean that they carried the team. it was a team effort

I wonder if the armor damage reduction is increased on platinum. I mean, they are adding deluxe versions of the piercing mods in the DLC so that has to be for a reason, I think.

N7 ranking was a stupid idea

As another guy suggested a while back, N7 ranking should have been increased by successful extracts

Full extract - Full points
Partial extract - partial points
Lone survivor - only that person gets points
No extract - no points

3 different ratings for Bronze , Silver, and Gold

so you couldn't just farm bronze to up your rating

Why do people still give an N7 cut-off rank they won't play with on Gold, Platinum? OP said less than 350 they should be kicked in Platinum, but anything 350 and above is fine. Seriously?! So if I am N7 349 I am not acceptable, however at 350 I somehow am? Silly. I have played Bronze games with guys on 2,000+ N7 ranks who were garbage & bottom of the leader board after the match. N7 rank mean diddly squat!

I'm gonna call BS. I would hope the top ten players have all or almost all their ultrarares maxed. Your manifest is impressive but it isn't top ten material.
