NO question asked...

I'm gonna call BS. I would hope the top ten players have all or almost all their ultrarares maxed. Your manifest is impressive but it isn't top ten material.

top player on psn is about 12k but yeah no hes got enough weapons to call maybe 4 thousand hes not even close to top ten and if your as fast as you say you are send me a pm of your psn and wel get a game going

How many credits do you get in Platinum? I was guessing around 175,000cr max. Considering that with each difficulty, the max amount of credits doubles, plus a little more.

Bronze = 15,000cr
Silver = 35,000cr
Gold = 80,000cr
Platinum = 175,000cr

these amounts may not be accurate

Why do people still give an N7 cut-off rank they won't play with on Gold, Platinum? OP said less than 350 they should be kicked in Platinum, but anything 350 and above is fine. Seriously?! So if I am N7 349 I am not acceptable, however at 350 I somehow am? Silly. I have played Bronze games with guys on 2,000+ N7 ranks who were garbage & bottom of the leader board after the match. N7 rank mean diddly squat!

You're absolutely correct that N7 rank doesn't mean anything as far as skill.

However a few of the weekend operations have required promoting classes to reach the goal.  If you don't care enough about the game or community to participate in those events, I can't see why you would give a damn about being excluded if they did institute a minimum N7 rank to play platinum. People have complained in the past that there is zero incentive to promote.

If it is as hard as they make it out to be, they should give a black card weapon for completing extraction.

N7 just shows just how much you promote. means nothing unless under 120, that means all characters arent lvl 20 yet due to lack of playing that class, inexperience playing with that class, or just hate the class in general. i hate sentinel's but i still play with them.

Platinum is likely only to pay out 100k due to the prices of the packs. Enough for a psp.

Seems interesting to me, can't wait to try this new difficulty with the Slayer.

Funny thing is I can really picture that happening on platinum difficulty.

One thing:

When I enter a Platinum match with any of you guys, remember: I have a low N7 rank because I love playing with the Adept and Sentinel classes.

15000x2=30000 + 5000 =350000
75000x2 + 5000 = 155,000

shpoon, I believe, is fairly new to multiplayer as am I.  I was not around for those operations or I would have promoted.  I've particated in all operations since I've begun playing MP.  You are making inaccurate assumptions.

Players that you deem incompetent (for me it’s
N7 below 350).

Lol.  Players that can't possibly conceive of someone not promoting their characters are clearly of the highest caliber of skill.

I don't understand this logic. I am a N7 300. All my characters are level 20. I have plenty of reset powers. I have finished the single player campaign twice. Why is there any reason for me to continue to promote my characters?

Also I have played with plenty of people that have a N7 of 1500+ and they shouldn't be playing Gold or even Silver for that matter.

this is stupid, and why would they do that? I don't recall anything like that from single-player. If they would fight between themselfs like in the mission where you are in the base that cerberus was making his soldiers, and you could see reapers killing cerberus guys.

Otherwise, it's just **** up. I can understand reapers controlling geth, or even cerberus controlling geth. But reaper and cerberus in cahoots? Not. A. Chance.

And about this N7 point kick if u dont have 300. This is stupid. Lets say i have two games from whatever reason. Or i bought this game after operation where u needed to promote them, which still gives me like2 months of playing. I can kill all those arguments. You can play only on bronze and have 2000 points. In starcraft i often meets with people who have small amount of win and are in high leagues, and many people with high amount of wins and still playing in bad leagues.
So to sum it up, i don't see a reason to promote my characters, and then to lvl them up again, just for N7 points. I prefer to play my gold matches instead of constant lvl-ing characters.

IMO, Platinum difficulty should have been more like Dark Souls difficulty wise, in that the Players and AI can easily die if a mistake is made.

Less health, more damage, one non medigel revival per round, etc.

i could care less about N7 rank, I've been playing since day 1 and am 532 N7 and I play this everyday, I find no reason to promote at all, also I go with people based on their loadouts, I played with a 30-90 N7 guy, had Harrier I, good player. N7 does not equal skill

Since I only promote for events and respeccing characters (and I've found good specs on everyone I've got unlocked so far), I bid f*** you to you too.
Yeah, I'm surprised I did the gold run this weekend damn fast too.
