What makes it bad? (bolded the parts that are intolerable)
Auto-dialogue. Canon Shep. Core of the game is abandoned.
Almost no side missions, but tons of fetch quests. Fact.
No Galaxy exploration. No vehicles. No little missions on the faraway planets.
No ME2 characters as a squadmates or even proper LI's. Fact.
Game is very short, compared to previous games. I am not speaking about main plots only.
Crucible. Asspull.
Choices did not matter that much. Rachni, geth, Collectors base have little to no consequence.
Introduction/beginning. Bad writing from a C-class movie about wars.
Catalyst's existence. Very badly written Deux Ex Machina.
Overall plot is very weak - Kai Leng power armor, Cerberus and so on. Bad writing.
Bugs. Tons of them.
Journal. How hard was to implement it?
Endings. just bad even with EC they deserve 4/10
Artistic integrity.
that stupid kid, and Shepard's nightmares about him.
the rest of the games are irrelevant thanks to the endings.
Tali's face.
Diana Allers.
Multiplayer affecting Singleplayer.
Citadel being moved through Relays.
Insults from Bioware.
Bad game is bad.
There is just too many problems with this game.
Tali is an insult to me, Bioware just spit in my face.

ME2 was pretty amazing as well, and brought us updated graphics, as well as some character developement. The story took some twists that I did not really like, but all in all, it was a good one. Fighting the Collectors was fun, and Harbinger was quite the pain with that biotic pulse that could knock you out of cover. Other than mining for 10 hours per game (not really, but it sucked regardless) and a terminator ripoff bossfight, it was a really good game.
ME3 was the least of the three. Hands down. The mood is dark and sombre. Everything feels 'on the rails'. The new engine sucks. Overall plot was terrible, and we get no bossfight at the end. A new bad guy in the form of Starchild was really terrible. The EC was a really good move by Bioware though - it showed they care. That act alone kept me on as a fan. I think they did brilliantly, considering what they had to work with.
Is ME3 bad? Bad is a vague term. Bad in comparison to? Its the worst of the three. Is it bad overall? No, its just not my favorite. Given all that I have enjoyed of the game, both SP and MP - I would say that overall its a good game. Its just not as amazing as 1 and 2.

I think I'll give Two Worlds a try after that.
Overall ME3 is a meh game for me: it has some great moments and until Rannoch I think I enjoyed it more than ME2; but looking back at it, even discarding the ending, it's a game with too many flaws.
I mean, I had some problems with the story in ME2, but I always thought that they had a plan for ME3, that all those characters and backstory would matter in the end and that that was the reason why Bioware introduced a powerful Cerberus, the Collectors and made us collect so many different people in ME2, instead of following from ME1's story more closely.
So disappointing.

Intro - Not as good as ME2 could of been more.
Not enough squad mates - We are in the middle of war no time to run and get more squad mates on other planets plus we've already collected them in ME2.
No Galaxy exploration - Again while the reapers are attacking planets you want to waste time exploring? I think in ME2 we've had enough time to do so.
Bugs - Every game has them so we should of not even bother with them at all.
Tali's face - Yep that is a huge dissapointment for most players who hoped to see her face unmasked.
Diana Allers - A character that can't even be remembered much.
Multiplayer affecting Singleplayer - It would seem that they tried to make Multiplayer too with this connect with singleplayer so it would matter why you should play it but it didn't happen this way to the eyes of the players.
Starchild - A new character that's being introduced in the third game out of nowhere so people didn't like that either.
After all this I still enjoyed playing the game I haven't seen alot of other games that are so good written as the ME series.
If I have to sit and write all the things I didn't like in other games and compare them to ME3 I am pretty sure it will be alot more.

Is that Two Worlds 2 or the first one? As i thorougly enjoyed Two worlds 2 even with the bad voice acting, the graphics engine was none too shabby.
As for ME3.....i'll always remember it for 2 things........1. ruining the series....and 2...bioware losing me as a must buy customer, it's too reminiscent of how final fantasy went mainstream and into pop culture for emo's.

I actually have both TW1 and TW2 and still haven't found enough time to play them (I can be crazy like that).
I agree of course about the not buying anything from the ME team until assurance of a high quality product (in other words I'll wait for customers review and a price drop).
Not sure about the DA team though: I enjoyed DA2, even with all its flaws, and I'm trying to be positive about DA3.

Yep nothing but fan feedback for future bioware products, if theres one thing the DA3 team have to there benefit, it's the fan reaction to DA2/ME3 and how effective ( EC) it can be.....and that can only be a good thing for DA3....so here's hoping.

Man.. BSN does very little but complain. This forum is just getting more, and more depressing.
Just keeps going down and down - it's a perfect mirror for the quality of the games that Bioware produces then.
ME3 made me nostalgic for DA2 and that, that just shouldn't be happening.

I'm DEFINITELY not seeing the "Game is short" thing. My ME3 playthroughs are just a little bit shorter than my ME2 playthroughs, which have all of the DLC on them & played.
I guess it's shorter than ME1, if you did in all the side quests in ME1. But who the hell wants to play the same four maps over & over again. People talk alot about the ME1 sidequests, but they were so damn boring. ME2 got the sidequest thing the bets.
I've had a few 40 hour playthroughs on ME2. Best I could crack on ME3 was 25.
Can't believe I've put this much time in the ME series. Holy hell...
On my two playthroughs, I got around 30 hours each.

1. Extremely eager to get ME3. Pre-ordered it the first day it was available, went straight to Collectors’ Edition.
2. Waiting for long time, replaying ME1 and ME2 meanwhile for 4 different characters, envision how awesome ME3 will be.
3. Finally getting CE and starting playing it the same day. Slightly annoyed by the fact I cannot import my canon Shepard face, but don’t bother and just recreate it. I can live with small bugs.
4. Starting intro… first uncomfortable moment. Don’t like kids, never did, don’t care about some random kid playing on roof, but whatever. Glad to see Ash again, then listen to an epic “we fight or we die” speech. Really miss “I’ve told you so” line in the speech wheel. Moving further, basic control info for players, that’s fine. Admire improved combat system.
5. Get to Normandy, all cool… and then I see that kid again that I didn’t care about. He dies along with others from 2 ships being shot. Oh well, it’s war, I’ve expected to see dead people. I mean, I still remember Jenkins dying in ME1, so that’s not a big deal.
6. Mars mission… First roll-eyes moment: super-freaking-gun idea. Cheap, seen it before. Still excited though, thinking of all the experience awaiting long ahead. Glad to see Liara, feel terrible seeing Ash crashed.
7. Second uncomfortable moment: when can I actually talk and explore my ship? Now I’m out to Citadel and still haven’t say “Hi” to Joker. Exploring Citadel, like the atmosphere, dislike the bar. Getting some of random quests, that’s should be fun!
8. Palaven mission - a little bit less excited then expected. Don’t like the map, don’t like the machine gun idea, too easy so far, just running around. Glad to see Garrus alive though.
9. Doing couple of fetching quests. Seems fun to run away from Reapers, although I am still expecting to hear “Anomaly detected” some time soon.
10. Sur’Kesh - good fighting zone, much more exciting than Palaven. Storywise it’s OK, I guess. Love the female Krogan design and the voice.
11. Do some more fetching quests. Already bored of them.
12. Do couple of side missions. Find out that Jacob is no longer LI option, worrying a bit for one of my 2 female Shep’s. Glad to see Jack, she is kicking butt!
13. EDI got a body. Rolling my eyes again at this ugly “Pinocchio” version. Then she starts asking questions about humanity… Do you need a “Romance for dummies” guide or something? Watch the ship, please.
14. Tuchanka. Very emotional. Love the battle and shear a tear over Mordin’s death. What a well through mission! Hopes for the rest of the game rise again, this has to be good. A sacrifice that will always be remembered!
15. Citadel attack - what the hell is happening? Are all C-Secs are morons? Because the whole place is crawling with Cerberus all of a sudden. Already annoyed by the fact that Cerberus is the main enemy of the game, as I originally hoped to turn Renegade Shepard to co-work with TIM. Now, space ninjas? You must be kidding me!
16. Meeting Tali. She acts… cold. Oh well, it’s war. Although it starts getting a bit depressing. Shepard is tired and sees this freaking kid over and over again. What a cheap move! Hearing Mordin's voice makes it slightly better.
17. Do some more fetching quests. Already annoyed by them, so look up in Internet which planets have what I need. Extremely annoyed by Journal system as this point as I am tired of writing everything down on a piece of paper.
18. Geth Dreadnought and Rannoch - slightly sad to see Legion to go, but at least the war is over now. Not such victorious feeling as curing the genophage, but another nice act that may earn me a medal at the end.
19. And more fetching quests! Try to cover all at once so I do not have to run around Citadel over and over again… but somehow new ones seem to appear each time I visit at least one of the locations.
20. Thessia - don’t get all the drama about it at all. So it's ruined, so what? It's war after all, take a look at Earth, Completely bored by game so far. Samara’s mission makes it a bit exciting, but so far this game looks too emo. Like there is no hope, so I don’t even know why Shepard keeps fighting. Everybody just dies, commits suicide, sacrifice themselves… Motivate myself by a vision of pure glorious victory I will get at the end. I mean, I waited for this game for so long, right?
21. Horizon - Miranda again with her sister. Feels like they just re-used the side plot from ME2. “Terrible” Cerberus experiments don’t seem to be so terrible comparing to some stuff they did in ME1 (like giving thresher maw’s blood to that solder… still gives me shivers).
22. Cerberus Headquarters - finally, some action! I am going to have a final "chat" with TIM. Yeah!.. Wait a second, is it the Human Reaper? I was pretty sure I have destroyed the whole thing in ME2? Anyway, TIM, here I come!
23. Kai Leng battle - actually hard and fun. Feels like a proper boss battle. Die couple of times at first. Feel the rush! But how come my Paragon choice and Renegade choice are practically the same of Shepard killing him?
24. Prothean VI - I can honestly make a very little sense of what he is saying now. Citadel? On Earth? TIM already got it? Hm, Ok…
25. Back to Earth - yes, I expected it to be “it all started here and it all will end here”. Although I still don’t understand why Earth is so important. Anyway, fighting a lot of enemies, say good-byes to everybody, really touching moments… Get a bad feeling Shep won’t come out of this alive. But, hey, he survived 3 times already in the most dangerous situations! Besides, I played MP to make sure my EMS is very high, so that's should be rewarding.
26. The beam run... Am I dead? Is it a critical mission failure? No, I survived. OK, can’t wait to kill Reapers!
27. TIM shooting himself - WTF?! Where is my epic battle with the most advanced human villain? Is he going to rise from dead like Saren? No?! That’s it?! Wow, that’s disappointing.
28. Anderson and Shepard watching the Earth. Feel exhausted, but victorious. Time to roll the credits and show the great reunion party… wait, what’s going on now?
29. It’s that kid again! OMG, just laugh for a minute, can’t believe they went with that “oh, that poor child with no future” theme. He speaks… I… am… speechless… And he is still speaking. By the time I barely wrap my mind around “Reapers are reaping to prevent reaping” concept, I need to make a choice.
30. Don’t hesitate a second, go straight to destroy. I don’t want to control you, I don’t want to be you, I just want you dead!
31. Normandy is leaving? How could you, Joker?.. Relays are destroyed. OMG, the whole fleet must be dead now!.. Normandy crashes. And I get Joker, Garrus and Ash coming out. That’s cute, but when did Ash came aboard Normandy? I was pretty sure I’ve heard that everybody was killed at that beam run.
32. Stargazer… You. Must. Be. Kidding. Me. Not only I am insulted with a child concept, but now I get “it all happened so long time ago”?! Like it didn’t matter at all?
33. "Thank you playing the game. Please pay us more to get future content". Ha-ha.
So that’s how it went before EC. Were the endings a single problem? No, they were a critical problem, sure, but it was coming along with some other “WTF” and “roll-eyes” moments. And that's, boys & girls, what makes ME3 a bad game for me.

I've played ME3 once, watched the EC on Youtube (Not downloading nearly 2 gigs just for more "meh"). I can't say anyone walked away from this release looking pretty.
