Mine is like 205 or something. Is the low. Should i try to raise it. Wat is the point get to 20 than reset to 1. Should you have one class at 20 and than cycle them through.

If you see someone with low N7 rank wat do you think of them do you kick them out or just let them play.

And i am not a noob. I have beatin plenty of gold before.

As one of the top leaders I can tell you not at all. But anyone higher up I am more inclined to trust using a crazy build or loadout. At the end of the day its knowledge of the game the game and basic FPS skills. All things that any N7 rank could have.

I have a chart and statistics that support the idea that N7 rating shares a relationship with the size of the male member and vaginal flexibility.

You know OP, I use to think like you do. Now I've come to the conclusion that playing with low level characters helps a lot to hone one's skills. This has the side effect of raising your N7 rank, of course, so yeah, a high score can mean a lot of things: highly skilled player, noob who spent a lot of real money on Pack and everything in between.

To me no, it doesn't count for much in my book. The only thing it really means is that person promotes much. By default that means they had to play enough to level up and get those promotions, but how is an unknown. Even that meter is no good. There are many who don't promote, yet have played enough to go gold with randoms and make extraction like a boss.

Im sitting at 180 and have been playing since day 1, rank is pointless and anyone who says differently is fooling themselves.

Although sometimes if you wish to respec a couple characters in the same catagory, you might as well reset the class. Respec tokens are not as common as they once were.

Unless it's below 120 it doesn't matter at all.

Usually you can guess a player's skill off of what rank their weapons are (people rocking rank X weapons have probably been in a scrap or two). The main exception is those that are below 120, since that shows that they haven't maxed out all the classes even once (though there's always the chance they just never touched a class and are amazing at whatever else they play).

I just want to counter the argument that high levels suck. I believe anyone should be giving a chance. Nothing erks me more then being booted for.my rank or someone saying I have no life.

You should try to raise your N7 if:
1) You feel like raising your N7; or
2) You want an easier time getting into public games; or
3) You want single-player war assets.

People care about it regardless of whether they should or shouldn't.  Ergo it affects you.  If that negative reaction you get from X% of people is something you want to change, promote.  If not, don't.

Personally, I find weapon rank levels to be a more reliable indicator.

The point of reseting your character is transfering points to your campaign so that you don't need to play online anymore to get a good ending , also for trying different builds.
My n7 is like 450 and It's been that way for months , I've seen people with rank above 2000 play like 5 years old kids charging pyros and getting killed every ten seconds.

Low n7 rating doesn't mean anything , if you want to see an hint of what the player will do , the only way is to look at his weapons.

N7 doesn't mean anything. For some reason most of BSN is incredibly volatile when it comes to promoting though.

The only time I questioned it was when an N7 rank 1 lvl 1 human soldier joined a UUG match.

yes.

gun rank matters more, because that lets me know when you use two medigel before wave 6, you probably wont have anymore if you are using a gps II and a Phalanx V

They can be bought with real money too.

Best thing you can do, is check if the player has about 120 rank and actualy play with them.

In my opinion, the n7 rank is not related to the skill the person has. Depending on the difficulty you want to play, the gear you have is very important, way more important than the rank.
Oh yes, the cooperative player is crucial. Sadly, you can’t know that just to seeing some pug on the lobby.
For example: The most skilled friend I played has a rank 6 times lower than mine, and he just kick ass with any class or character.
Yesterday I invited a guy who adds me here from the BSN and he had a 120 rating. We play on Firebase Ghost – Reaper (U/U/G) and we have no trouble at all.

I'm doing it for #2. Though I don't want to raise it too high, becuase I'm not interested in playing with people that kick easily for low N7. They tend to not be very good.

Usually its not rank that matters. I look at their loadout to see if they have a decent loadout for that level of play.

Obviously you still got a few silly people that try to play games way beyond their level e.g a level 20 trying to play gold with a Avenger and are usually kicked. But really they are kicked for their loadout rather than their level.

Yes and no. I'm just going to be honest about it. High N7 definitely means you've played the game a lot. now this doesn't NECESSARILY correlate to skill.... But usually it seems to.

On the flip side, LOW N7 doesn't NECESSARILY tell you anything -- they may promote rarely or not at all.... but USUALLY it SEEMS to correlate to less skill - just like high N7 USUALLY seems to correlate to higher skill....

Again - i've found that now that i'm up over 1k, people don't kick me for using lower level characters (except very low N7 players oddly enough...) or strange builds/equipment like someone said.

I'm a good example for this. i have a 1050 or something like that - and man. sometimes i suck pretty hard at this game. (sometimes i do fairly well - but man, when i suck - i suck HARD)

the n7 rank is meaningless because it only goes up if you promote your characters.
if you enjoy playing just 1 class on gold. then promoting that class so it goes back down to 0 kind of hinders your enjoyment in some cases because it forces you to go back to silver and bronze. at least it does for me. so I play regularly and have a rank of 270 and i've had that since a few weeks after launch. all my characters are level 20

Look, its all random and probability. You know how you use to open a PSP and get a CC? Even though PSP have the chance of containing a UR you will most likely get a CC. That is almost how N7 rank is. Yes there's good players with low N7 scores because they don't promote, yes there's people who is switching platforms so there N7 score is low but they are very competent at the game because they did it all before, yes some people new to the MP is still very good players. But with all that you're going to still most likely get a CC(a less skilled, noob player) more likely then the UR(good advanced player who don't like to promote.) I've found that they are the URs of the N7 score board.

So in conclusion, N7 does matter and it don't really, its all random, just like the store. And yes sometimes you get trolled and a high N7 (UR) is really bad, you know like the Eagle pistol or (insert subpar UR weapon here).
