Anyway, the MS Comics? Yes, they are that good, especially when you pair them with the "audio books."

It's just that Chris directly denied a "Project X DLC" thread, which is rather similar to this thread, almost immediately after it was opened, but he has so far left this one alone.
Personally, I'm not sure I believe it. Don't get me wrong, I would quite happy if it was true, but if it isn't, I've got the Marauder Shields Comics to fall back on.
The speculation in this thread is pretty open. Adding scenes or a different outcome to the ending isn't really changing them either. Your old ending would still be valid and achievable. It's just adding to them.
For what it's worth, I think BioWare has redeemed themselves a bit, with the last few pieces of DLC, and I'm very intrigued to find out, what it is they're going for with all this. I can't see why one would want to play mid-story DLC, if it doesn't in any way affect the final outcome. It's just passing the time, and then we might as well watch it on YouTube.
Sneaky.

I like this theory. =) I hope they add further details to the endings with more DLC, it seem's like they should. I love Refusal, because it is the only option in which my Shepard, remains faithful to his ideals.
I agree 100%
If they added a successful refuse it would make that speech that much more climactic AND would make the Catalyst probably one of the greatest villians ever!

Exactly, but not just the sp dlc, what about all the multiplayer? Is that really just for the sake of having a MP with microtransactions? or is there something more to it?
There'd have to be something more to it, they said pre-release MP would have an affect on SP..

They probably meant via EMS, but that's pretty weak, and I dont think they're satisfied with stopping there. It makes sense from a story perspective. Mass Effect has always been about story (if not, you're a masochist), and MP needs that element to truly succeed. It doesn't even have to be that hard, or complicated. (Even small stories after Operations add to it).

Yea that's true. lol about the masochist part.. However, I dont think they meant via EMS because this was said at the same time they were stating we wouldn't need MP to achieve the best ending......

While I would be fine with just one "win" ending, I think the blow would be softened on the community if we had two "win" endings. As BioWare should HOPEFULLY have learned by now, we players like choices.

Hey guys, there is a rumor about a Citadel DLC that may come after Omega DLC, and if that's real, then maybe, after Leviathan and Omega, we will have our new Refusal ending. BTW, have you heard about project X?
Hey... So that's how you found me.. lol.
Um, yea I think it's going as planned. If there is Citadel DLC after Omega, I imagine it will play a fairly significant role in the story as the Citadel is used to a massive extent already.
I can see Omega giving us valuable insight into what Cerberus was up to. Then Citadel dlc assuming giving us more insight into the Catalyst and/or Keepers?
I can see all this building up to a massive refuse ending. Seriously, what's the point of being able to get 8,000 EMS when the best ending peaks at 5,000 EMS?

I wonder if since we are still getting new war assets to improve the construction of the Crucible directly if we will eventually be able to unlock a new version of one or more endings. Perhaps a super-destroy that lets us only target Reapers, or an option to bypass Starbinger and use the Crucible as a weapon in-and-of itself.

Well that's the whole reason why another ending would do nothing but good. Variety is key. I'd say one "win" ending, but two ways to acheive it, either paragon or renegade.

It dont think a ultimate ending will be connected to EMS, through multiplayer promoting characters I think some people have much higher EMS than 8000.
It will have to depend on what assets you gain through DLC , not how much EMS. Although there could be a minimum amount needed.

I agree. I think the option would most likely be unlocked by having a certain asset or mixture of assets (such as all the Crucible category assets) and then made chooseable by having a certain EMS.
Besides the Dark Energy Dissertation, is there any Crucible category asset that can't be gotten in a non-import game?

Although would be cool if we got some sort of easter egg from getting the Dark Energy Dissertatian asset.

Maybe the Dark Energy Dissertation will be the key! It says that dark energy creates a small difference in time, and the Crucible is powered by dark energy. Maybe the dissertation will give us the information to turn the Crucible into a time machine!
Conrad Verner would be the savior of the galaxy.
Think about that.

Then Paragon could be you save Conrad and sacrifice yourself, or renegade is you let Conrad sacrifice himself lol.
I do agree about the War Assets, it will be more about what type you have. But there would still have to be some sort of EMS cap on the ending. Atm the refuse through speech requires 2800EMS.
Maybe that's the base EMS you will need to try for a successful refuse, then what combination of you and how much EMS determines the casualties of getting the win. Then everything under 2800EMS just goes to Liara's Time Capsule.
