No, I highly doubt Omega will impact the ending directly in anyway, even exposition.

That being said, it will definitely give us more war assets to help fight the Reapers conventionally.

I'm hoping.

well hopefully at the very least give is a new war asset cinematic cause with x of these that fans wanted not worth the purchase there better be something...but then again didn't people complain about Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC? I mean there just repeating themselves here

Hey I'm a supporter. I have been for a while.

I'll campaign for it, along with revamped priority Earth, ME2 character DLC, Season 6 of Chuck OR a Movie (or 2), Season 2 of Firefly, and much more useless ****.

Huh? Who complained about LotSB?

With war asset cinematic I agree 100%. I believe it doesn't matter what side of the fence you are on, most people want to see more war asset cinematic action.

@BBN, Thanks, but it was inspired by that refuse speech so..

Mass Effect's a pretty cool girl, eh never backs down and doesn't afraid of anything.

EDIT:

@Fiendish, since you have a Miranda avatar, you should drop the banner and display other campaigning material Posted Image

Oh, I see. I will keep that in mind for next time. ;)

Do you anticipate Omega adding anything substantial to the theory?

As much as I want this to be true, I just can't see them making us PAY for everything and then giving away the last thing that pieces it all together. Personally, if anything, I can see them releasing the last piece that is the most revealing, that shows that everything after getting hit by Harbinger was just a dream or Hallucination or Indoctrination, will be free, but they will have some integration to make Puzzle Theory true as well, making it so that all of the DLC makes the ending even sweeter.

They sold a lot of dlc for Sims 3. The entire game costs like $300 apparently.

Okay, but did they sell a new ending to the game? I know Azura's Wrath did, but did they really SELL the new ending? I mean, did anyone BUY it? That game wasn't exactly a best seller...

A big name franchise like Mass Effect, I can't see them even trying to get away with that, especially with the s#it storm they already had...

Azura's Wrath, Prince of Persia, Fallout 3...

The list goes on...

Thing about it is, it's a good money-making scheme and EA haven't adopted it in a game yet....

I didn't think PoP 2008 changed the ending, I thought it was just an epilogue. I'll give you Fallout 3 though... You might be right about them charging. I didn't have an Xbox when Fallout 3 and its dlcs came out, I only got into it when I grabbed the GOTY edition...

But if we're talking about Puzzle Thoery here, then PoP is applicable because Puzzle Theory doesn't require anything to be changed anyway..

Wasn't Azura's Wrath an epilogue too?

Essentially, yes. When I first saw the ending, my instinct led to the last 2 episodes of NGE, which(even considering the insanity of the previous episodes) was jarringly different from the rest of the series and led to the butthurt of many a-fan.

That's the question: How do you help sell DLC for a game that's essentially over and done with? At least to my knowledge, something like this hasn't been attempted before. And I'll admit, it's a great idea. Whether it was intentional from the beginning or not is far too nebulous to say confidently...but looking at the facts you'd provided on Page 1, it's hard not to think that they're going for something similar to the puzzle theory.

I was initially tempted to go for the IT, but there are major issues that come with that one.

The way I read the article about Azura's Wrath DLC, it was full out ending DLC. Like, the game just ended without an ending. I dunno, I wasn't very impressed with the demo, so I didn't bother with it.

Honestly, I haven't read the entire thing about Puzzle Theory, but I'll take your word for it. Now that you mention it, I would not at all be surprised if they released paid DLC for Indoctrination theory as a sort of epilogue. The people that want it will buy, those that don't won't.

I hope DLC will provide us with some ways to flip the switch on the crucible from Synthetics to Reapers.

This has been braught up many times before and I agreed with it then. But I don't now.

Shepard would still be left in the same half-assed breath scene and the Reapers would still be being killed by a deus ex. I honestly believe if they wrote it properly, they could make a conventional victory possible.

Leviathans were a great start on this road.

Strangely, this really appeals to me. I've come to terms with the breath scene - kind of - but I'd seriously love a way to direct the red-hot hate-wave at the Reapers and only the Reapers. If I can kill them without killing the geth and EDI, I've got my ending.

Ok so what would the Crucible do then personally I think turning off all the Reapers kinetic barriers would be the best thing.

That would allow for a totally sick sequence involving the Reapers being blown to sh*t by the combined forces of the galaxy.

I approve.

What the crucible should have done instead of an A,B,C Reaper off-switch
