Goodnight Banshee!
@Mike.. Yea, I'm hoping so too.. The only thing I'm concerned about is the 2GB limit.. Could they really have been putting bits and pieces in other dlcs though? Those dataminers are pretty damn clever!
It's possible. Personally, though, I can't see how they can't make an amazing DLC out of 2GB. I mean, Dawnguard and Dragonborn are WELL under the 2GB limit...and, think about it...if they are just expanding on the ending, they really don't NEED to add much...the groundwork really is there...
I don't get how Omega is exactly 1.99GB, like... Really?dorktainian wrote...
one things for sure, somethings going to happen soon. what if it were there right in front of our eyes at the VGAs? Shep / Garrus playing a video game. the same game we've been playing? ah well you know all this nerd rage could have been sorted out with 15 seconds of footage placed in the right area. all they have to do is show shepard get up from the rubble and walk away. then you know everything is a lie and that sets up more stuff. it's ok writing a deep and meaningful ending if no-one gets it. yeah good idea.
lol wut?
nope.....there is no clarification, only the harvest.

Maybe I'm missing it, what op? For the MP weekend challenge?

Me too... Or, at least. Maybe they used different placeholders so the dataminers does realize what the content actually is... I mean EC I could understand being so large because a lot of the content you aren't going to see on one playthrough.. But can the same really be said for Omega? Apart from Aria's paragon or renegade outlook at the end of it? And minor things like Petrovskys fate etc...MWMike2011 wrote...
@Jade, I'm seriously wondering if they actually hid some of the files a little deeper in Omega than even the dataminers were able to find. Or, perhaps, they are planning on reusing some of the templates for Omega in the end DLC. I agree, though, Omega was fine, but there was no possible way it really could be 1.99 GB at facevalue...

At the end of ME1 i felt like a big damn hero. I saved the galaxy and lived to talk about it.
At the end of ME2 i felt lke a big damn badass hero. I survived a suicide mission with team intact.
At the, er, finish of ME3. EC or not, i felt like a dead guy who was forced into sacrificing himself with no guarantee that the universe is saved.
Puzzle gives me something to hope for. Time will tell how real it is.
Now i'll let Pulp Effect return.

Recently just put this in another thread, so will put it here too as I was talking about this quote in previous pages but never found the exact one.
First is the actual quote, then I'll do my interpretation of how it can be seen to the player from BioWare...
Shepard: My mother's in the Alliance. Haven't heard from her since Earth got hit.
Garrus: I'm sure... she's okay. Pretty soon, blind hope is all we'll have left... and I hate being blind.
Shepard: I know you don't have any illusions about what we're up against, Garrus. How do you rate our chances?
Garrus: I know it looks bad now, but I think we can win this, Shepard. For the first time since we met, we're not alone in the fight.
Shepard: After what's happened to Palaven, you still believe that?
Garrus: It's something I learned long ago in C-Sec: an imminent and painful death has a way of motivating people.Instead of questioning your every word, whole civilizations are going to be begging you to save them.I didn't say there wouldn't be casualties. It's something turians are taught from birth... If just one survivor is left standing at the end of a war, then the fight was worth it, but humans want to save everyone.
Shepard: (unchanged)
Garrus: I'm sure she's okay. Pretty soon (after you beat the game) blind hope is all we'll have left... and I hate being blind. (blind hope is all *you'll* have left. People hate being blind.)
Shepard: I know you don't have any illusions about what we're up against, Garrus. (Garrus is usually a character who's straight to the point. No bull. BioWare are appealing to that to give the player insight) So what are our chances? (of getting a "win" ending)
Garrus: I know it looks bad now (the flaming/ending situation), but I think we can win this Shepard (hint, hint). For the first time since we met, we're not alone in this fight. (Which can only mean the player themself is not alone in his/her playthrough, via multiplayer, different people can get together to help achieve this victory over the Reapers. Because although they were technically alone in ME1. They weren't in ME2. They had Cerberus' support and they weren't as small as we all thought.)
Shepard: (unchanged)
Garrus: It's something I learned long ago in C-Sec: an imminent and painful death has a way of motivating people. (The ending was imminent and painful to most ME fans. *especially original*. This had a way to motivate them to try and appeal to BioWare *Child's Play* etc...)
Instead of questioning your every word, whole civilizations are going to be begging you to save them. (Re: appealing to BioWare). I didn't say there wouldn't be casualties (We know we're going to lose fans over this). It's something turians are taught from birth (it's something writers are taught when taking risks in their stories). If just one survivor is left standing at the end of this war, then it was worth it. (If just one diehard fan is left standing when all this is over, then we succeeded.) But humans want to save everyone. (But fans are going to want to save everyone, inc. Shepard.)
So although some things fit, and somethings only loosely. It's quite a humerous comparison I thought.

Team Goal: Earn the “Survived 5 Waves” medal on the Firebase Condor map at any difficulty. Extraction not required.
So with not much real speculation to go on with the MP events. I thought I'd post this in just to congratulate whichever BioWare writer wrote it. Whether it be Ms. O'Grady or not.
Unlike some of the previous missions which are simply "earn x amount of point with y character"
This one really seems as if this mission would actually be happening within the SP lore.

Event Description: The Reapers are taking advantage of our forces being spread thin and are making a push for Menae. Alliance Intelligence predicts that the Reapers are luring us into committing large-scale defenses to the moon that they will wipe out. Our counter-strategy is to insert small, stealthy units to conduct disruptive offensives and hold the firebase during their hopefully weakened attacks.

It's before Turians admit that Palaven is lost and cut their losses. There may be some time to go.
My 9 ops after Retaliation idea was a falsehood.
