I think it's also worth noting now that the name of the event "Operation Alamo." Could be a reference to the battle of the Alamo itself in which shares comparisons with the Miracle on Palaven.

The short of it is that the mexicans made a push on the Alamo and took it (Reapers taking Palaven/Menae) but then a couple of months later the Texians made a push a reclaimed the Alamo (The Miracle on Palaven).

I know, and I love your dlc idea. So sorry, it's just the way I interpreted it. And since Alamo literally has no other meaning outside it's labelling of the building in San Antonio. It's hard to interpret this any other way....

Hmmm.

Interesting. "Fascinating," as Spock would say.

I may go more in-depth with this Alamo/The Miracle on Palaven business. I feel it is my duty as a native Texan to drop some knowledge.

"Extraction not required". Yeah, they all died. Then they became a rallying cry. "Remember the Alamo!"

lol yes but that's not where the Alamo's story ended. They did retake the fort.

edit: Therefore extraction is not required because we are not pulling back. We are securing our footing and our dominance over this area.

Yeah was Operation Alamo like the beginning of the invasion? Like, the third SP mission or whatever? Because if it was, our time frame is wayyyy off.

No, if it is about the Miracle of Palaven, that happens later after you get the Krogans and Turians to unite.

I apologize for some Americans, Jade. Most Yanks don't know what Gallipoli is.

Just out of curiosity, how many Americans knows that my people (Danes), fought alongside the Yanks doing the Alamo, and that Dannebrog (our flag) is on display inside the Alamo?

The Alamo? It was the site of Ozzy Osbourne's last stand... of that memorable day.

One Dane.

I also take offense at being called a "Yank".

Anyway, Charles Zanco, a lieutenant

Am I right?

I've been to the Alamo. It's surprisingly small.

@Dorktanian, yes I did. I had a very long sleep actually. Woke up because of a zombie nightmare lol as usual...
@Shotgun Julia, no need to apologize, he's actually on my FL.. Must be having an off day...
@AresKeith, thank you :)

Trying to size up if Miracle on Palaven fits the other timelines speculated about from the other operations... If anything I think it's not as far through the SP campaign as I thought it would be.

hello, i´m an ITer myself and i´m wondering, in IT shepard wakes up from indoctrination after choosing Destroy or Refuse(i believe refuse also helps waking up), How would the army, with all the DLC and information and assets gained in MP, help Shepard reach the real crucible?
and how much time would it last while protecting shepard who would be trying to figure out how to use the crucible and activate it?
