Have to agree with you on capital punishment, Jade. Some people are just so messed up, and have done things that are irredeemable.

Nope, Liara will save her! She will touch the bear and share it's thoughts, then the bear will gain intelligence and be able to communicate with other species. Thus beginning a new race in the ME galaxy called Polabreeze.

If they do pull this out for some reason I hope they let Shepard deal with the catalyst problem by class interrupt. (Which was the only thing I liked about Omega), Maybe Engineer Shep hacks the Crucible causing it to self destruct. Or an Adept Shepard starts tearing the place stuff up with his/her biotics or something like that.

Yeah I really hope they do a lot of class-specific interrupts in the future. Funny signature by the way.

NOOO!! Liara is better than Samara. Plus the code would dictate that Samara not save Shepard unless she asks for it. Which would be a bit hard with her head down the Polar Bears throat.

Ha! this.  Well to be honest I dunno...  Can you overload  Mass Effect Weapons like you can in Star Trek like setting a Phaser to explode? Maybe that'll be the soldier and I guess the Vanguard can act like the  Adept only Falcon Punching  the structure of the Catalyst chamber or something.

Liara is not better than Samara. If the Code didn't forbid it, Samara could tear Liara apart with using less than half of her biotic power. And, she doesn't try to get in your bed when you've locked in with another romance option. (Miranda in my case.)
I never like Liara but before that I used to stand her existence. But, when Bioware nearly forced me to sleep with Liara when I was romancing Miranda, it pissed me off to the point that I just turned the game off and went into a nerdrage that has not yet ended. After that moment, I wanted to murder Liara with my bare hands. I wanted to create an asari genophage just so that I wouldn't have to deal with them. It made me want to shake TIM's hand for blowing up her base. Liara made me like TIM more because he was a jerk to her. But, only AFTER she tried to make my Shepard cheat on Miranda with her.
And on a side note, Jacob was screwed up as badly as the ending in ME3. What he did wouldn't stick with his personality. He would not cheat on Commander Shepard with some random scientist.

On a side note, I support a punt the catalyst minigame for ME3. Or just a massive retcon of the worst game in the trilogy. That would make me leap with joy and praise BioWare as gods. (Or maybe just give them a +1/+1 counter for every plot hole they removed with it. It would make them like a 70/70. And they'd probably have trample, double strike, hexproof, unblockable, flying, deathtouch, vigilance, and lifelink.
