Yea I hope thesis is next but I'm thinking that might be too obvious.. Also why do everyone speculate about the mp ops and not the sp content?

Because puzzle theory is based on the multiplayer storyline catching up, and all we know about the next dlc is that it involves the citadel.

I don't know, I'm not totally myself right now. Image IPB

new years drinking?

snd no, that's not just what pt is based on. It's also sp content giving us greater strength, information and resources via war assets to help shape it also. Then it's the combination if that and the mp stuff which results in the success.

Well yeah, as I said, I'm not totally functional. My apologies.

It's nearly 4 in the morning here and I haven't had sleep for around 24 hours. It totally messes up my ability to function.

I know this may not mean anything, but I was bored, and so I listened to the conversation with Leviathan and the starbrat saying "So be it" in refuse. And, it sounds very similar. Almost suspiciously similar. Do you think there may be more of a connection than just "The Leviathans made an intelligence, it betrayed them." Because, I think maybe the Catalyst WAS a Leviathan. I was thinking maybe they did a project Overlord of their own. What do you guys think?

That's an interesting thought.. But if that's the case, then are you saying that The Catalyst is a Leviathan? Because in Overlord David was still a human, just got plugged into the network...

If that's the case, I don't see how that's possible. Although the Citadel is a big place. It would make an awesome dlc if we went exploring the Citadel through Keeper tunnels and discovered a locked room containing an ancient Leviathan!

Something along those lines, because we don't know how long Leviathans live, it could be the case. And, the keepers do keep much of the Citadel a secret. So, it could be that there's a Leviathan that is Catalysted hidden near the core of the Citadel. And that, somehow, it hasn't gotten old and died. Maybe Leviathan tech has it in a state of physical cryo, while its mind is still Catalysted. And, the Catalyst is crazy, because the reapers are a lot like the geth, so it's been hearing the reapers talking for billions of years.

I come to realise something.
The endings of ME3 can be intepreted like this:

Let's say you are an assassin that needs to kill someone important but you don't want to alert the police of your doing, and to consider the hit as a mere coincidence. You will want to shoot at least two other people in the open and all will assume that this was a hit that was intiated by some maniac that likes killing. (  To be sure that no ones will ever came out with an explanation, the first kill needs to be a civilian that has nothing to do with your target ). Who will ever think that behind this you wanted specfically kill a target? So comparing this to the endings, we can assume that the endings are not what they look like. At least we can't say for sure as long as Bioware will release new content. Think of this: EC was 1.9 gb....Can you swear on the Bible ( figurative speech ) that some pictures and probably 3-4 minutes of cut scenes are occupying that much space? :D

interesting, but it could be that there are a bunch of different cutscenes that you don't see unless you're in a certain EMS range. But, I hope you're right about there being more than there was. I think it's more likely going ot be about Omega if you're right, because it seems to be way too little content for 1.9 gb.

Yes, we know all the files that are in the extended cut.

The slides are all stored as video files, which eats up a ton of space (rather than being pictures that are manipulated in-engine, they're all 720p Bink videos, same as the other cinematic sequences). Coupled with the new epilogues and battle scenes, these videos comprise most of the extended cut.

The rest of the space is taken by the replacements for the beam run and the Citadel, as well as the crash landing and the new memorial. There aren't any hidden videos or other "secret" files (although one of the global files did reveal some of the dialogue for Leviathan, which is how we first found out about it).

I like it, I'm not sure if you've ever played Fallout: New Vegas. But there's a character in that called Mr. House who had been kept alive for hundreds of years via something similar.

It could work the same way. I like it! It would make a great dlc, and then when the crucible docks at the end. No starchild! XD

But I do think that would drastically change the ending instead of just adding an alternative.

That's the funniest analogy I've heard lol. But it makes sense.

Unfortunately, people have mined the EC to jippy and back, the only thing they found was Leviathan files.

So, in that sense, you are right, there was more than just the EC content. But I don't think there's nothing we don't already know about now.

^ Estebanus(sister?) good to see you here! :)

@Jade, IIRC Mr. House looked more like a husk than anything else. He was alive, but not sure if I'd call that living. :-/

Yes, but the same could happen with the Leviathan, it doesn't really need to be living as long as it's mind is in the Catalyst.

Thanks estabanus(sister?) lol.

One for people who want a successful refuse ending.

It's pretty good, especially when they talk about the races uniting, Turian and Human, Krogan and Salarian, Quarian and Geth.

It's soo true.

And one for the IT/refusers

I will watch the longer one when I return, but the bottom one is pretty awesome and very good considering the limited resources they had to make it. I still think it's funny that fans can make more satisfying ends the Bioware, at least for now. Thanks for sharing. Image IPB

Just thought of a little bit more of what the Leviathanalyst's motives for the harvest. Maybe it wants revenge for being turned into little more than a machine, so it is trying to destroy those that turned it into what it is.
