I have an exterior terrain level and am having some problems. One is outlined below, the other is a pathfinding issue with a picture HERE (picture removed) - This area directly aligns with a single terrain grid cell.

So, whenever I try to do a local post, I get the following. Can anyone help? (Read down)

E: 11:41:03 - Processing failed of the following job.
I: 11:41:03 - Job/Rule:
I: 11:41:03 - (win32) layout mmh conversion to gff addin hmranvl
I: 11:41:03 - Inputs:
I: 11:41:04 - /source_addins/hmranvl/layouts/hnaext1/hnaext1_28_1.mmh.xml
I: 11:41:04 - Processed by: Local Client
I: 11:41:04 - Processor completed with issues.
E: 11:41:04 - Processor failed, build halted
E: 11:41:04 - RPU process failed with a return code of '1'.
E: 11:41:04 - Failed to post layout [hnaext1] locally.
E: 11:41:04 - Hammer and Anvil Exterior.lvl - Exporter FAILED for resource: Hammer and Anvil Exterior.lvl
I: 11:41:04 - PostProcessing
I: 11:41:04 - AddIns.xml file has been updated successfully.
I: 11:41:04 - Offers.xml file has been updated successfully.
S: 11:41:04 - Export Summary, 1 Requested, 0 Success, 0 Skipped, 1 Failed.  Please see below for more details.
E: 11:41:04 - Local Posts Failed!

The message with Do All Local Posts is slightly different - all I get is this line:
E: 14:03:50 - Hammer and Anvil Exterior.lvl - Exporter FAILED for resource: Hammer and Anvil Exterior.lvl

There are no issues anywhere else (at least, I don't think there are) - the blueish color seems to be the area of the problem. Any help is very much appreciated.

I have no problems with room levels. Could have something to do with terrain collisions?

I think I have isolated the problem. It always crashes at hnaext1_28_1.mmh.xml. This is related to the terrain cell mentioned above where the pathfinding wasn't working. The terrain cell is Model Instance ID = 28. Now that I have found the problem, I need to find a way to fix it.

If you open your log and look in it you will see more info on what caused the problem. I found that the Log window does not show all the information you will find in the log file. Note that the log file has the most recent posts at the bottom.

You can find the logs by going to the help menu in the toolset.

Post the error info from the log and someone might be able to figure it out.

Thanks for the response. However, in this situation the logs say exactly the same thing - that it failed to process hnaext1_28_1.mnh.xml

Are there any other lines in the log that say error? Every time my local posts didn't work there were 4 or 5 error lines in the log, even though most of them were not very informative.

So, no extra lines. What I'm going to try to do is create a new terrain level and copy over all of the objects, then try and match the terrain as best as I can. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the size of the level (256x512), but it doesn't seem that big.

Seems to be working now. For future reference - the only way to fix this is to make a new level and copy stuff over.
