It was only a matter of time. Someone had to do it. Unless it's already done.

No, but so what? Isn't the MP also supposed to be fun?Benny8484 wrote...Now that Geth/Cerberus/Reaper forces are all working together in Platinum difficulty (Which makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE lore wise)
I dimly remember that ME2 explained Normandy's armory to be equiped to analyse and replicate alien weapons tech. It's debatable whether this is true on the retrofitted armory in ME3, but your assumption of absurdity is a bit over the top.Prothean Rifles were pushing it (Could possibly be duplicated with Javek's weapon), but this is just absurd.
Not on Platinum, but in 90-something % of the game. Why are you complaining that there is additional, free content, that you don't have to use if you don't like it?Multiplayer used to be a extension of the SP experience. One could pretend to be a N7 operative fighting for strategic assets to help the resistance & creation of the crucible. This is no longer possible with this change.

1. Look up the word "confirm" in the dictionary
2. Edit the thread subject line to remove the blatant, troll-level inaccuracy.

I like how you just wrote Mordin out of ME2. He's definitely a scientist, and it's just not possible to be a Gilbert-and-Sullivan-quoting pessimist.
More over, how does the description of Javik as an experienced soldier actually contradict the "Javik is a moron" hypothesis? I've never served, but there are dozens of soldiers and sailors among my family and friends--and they surely run the gamut of intelligence.
Mordin is STG, combat training was a part of his job. Your average researcher who could better explain the science he was looking for has only basic instictual combat ability.
I most certainly was not infering Javik was a moron. I was trying to say he has a different skillset then Mordin. Where Mordin probably has 2,634 different ways to poison you and render you combat incapable, Javik knows 2,634 way to kill you with anything in the room including your own hands.
The person who did claim Javik was a idiot wanted him to explain more about Prothean technology, the physics behind it, creation process, etc. Javik as a soldier knows how to use it, what fuction it serves but is lacking in the knowhow to maniufacture it or the knowledge on how it workes down to the power sorce. Javik can also easily explain Prothean military doctrine, Prothean society to an extent, as well as how the Prothean empire fell. These explination are colored somewhat by his personality as the gruff bitter frontline soldier with a bone to pick.
Think about it from Javik's point of view. You are the only Prothean walking in what is now considered modern society. You discover your race was reveared as the pinnicle of all technological enhancements, your society was seen as the apex of what all which to achieve and even in a few cases, reveared as Gods. You however know better, you know what those beacons were meant to deliver, you know where the technology REALLY came from, your warning went unheeded because those around you were all caught up in their own petty problems you long ago solved. Your mentality and way of life no longer fits with what is considered the norm. Where you were once a whole galaxy strong, you are now just one voice in a sea that no longer resonates with your beliefs.
I have served and I've served with both those who were intellgence and I'd follow into the maw of hell without a moments hesitation and those who I still wonder who thought they'd be excellent leadship material and would rather use them as a meatshield.
It seems some people expected too much of Javik and when he couldn't deliver they wrote him off as a dunderhead.

A batarian, a geth, a quarian male and a human fighting on a moon vs geth without killing eachother as they bloody hate eachother.
Seems legit

For those that are not aware, regardless of whom your "fighting" enemies from all factions appear during platinum difficulty in same rounds & work together.
Multiplayer used to be a extension of the SP experience. One could pretend to be a N7 operative fighting for strategic assets to help the resistance & creation of the crucible. This is no longer possible with this change. Why do we even flavor text for events at this point now that the lore of the ME universe is irrelevant?
This weekends event should say the following:
Operation BROADSIDE blah blah blah unicorns & space magic. Art
Am I the only one who is upset with this change?
Edt: In response to "They are controlled by reapers"
Cerberus Troop Training: "While indoctrination is involved, and they are physically altered into a
husk-like state, the integration does not reduce them to the feral behavior that Reaper husks exhibit. Instead, Cerberus troops retain enough skills to perform their roles and maintain complete loyalty to Cerberus' cause."
Argue with the codex
Tell that to the Illusive Man.

Maybe make a terminus systems dlc to include yahg, raloi, and lystheni along with virtual aliens in re-purposed mech bodies.

Protheans are no longer relevant.
You can get the Particle Rifle and one of the new characters has Dark Channel. There, every unique aspect about them has been brought to multiplayer. Get over the Protheans.
And it DOES make sense lore-wise, Cerberus is indoctrinated, and not all of the Reaper controlled Geth were at Rannoch / the Geth Dreadnought. But then again you can look at it as Platinum was not created to serve lore, but to quiet the overwhelmingly small minority who think Gold is too easy.
Slam. Also, one character having a power doesn't mean that it is impossible to give to anyone else. We have a bunch of characters with Warp, does that mean that no one else can have Warp? Protheans are wanted by a large portion of the playerbase, they would bring new life to this dying game and they would be easy to add. Get over yourself.

What makes you think the game is dying? It seems to be thriving very well until BW decides they can't add anymore DLC.

For those who are not capable of reading a paragraph it was sarcasm. The point I am making is, lore no longer has any bearing in MP. Therefore it is only logical to conclude that Protheans will be added despite the fact that Javek is the last Prothean because again, lore doesn't matter.
So because you had no idea what you are talking about we are stupid for not caring about sarcasm? Get out.

Most the hardcore MP fans don't even care about lore.
Also, isn't N7 an alliance program? Isn't pretending to be an N7 Krogan breaking lore?

Seeing as they added Dark Channel to the Fury (I think thats the new adept), theirs really no point in adding the protheans in Biowares eyes.
Also, when were they confirmed?

DLC is the only thing that gives it any chance of surviving longer. We have one game type with three enemies. The addition of new weapons, maps, characters and equipment is the only thing that has sustained an audience for this MP. Before the Earth DLC was made official, this forum was not as active as it now is. Most of the threads were about bugs that have yet to be fixed and how tedious it gets doing the same exact thing over and over, nothing but 3,6,10 objectives and extraction. The only thing that will prevent this from falling out of existence entirely is the fact that it is not PvP, so you can still play against AI. New game modes need to be added and while Platinum is a nice start, but it will not fix everything.
