First PUG match of the day and a full extraction was achieved. Next, allied goal.

Reapers on Gold is a tough row to hoe. I just had 4 games that washed out before finishing the 6th wave. Can anyone offer some advice? I certainly tried not to do anything stupid.
Find a cooperative group of people. Skill helps, but communication can fill the gaps left by inexperience.
I happened to find some randoms who kept it together while never saying a word. We extracted from Condor. Turns out they where in a party, I've joined, and they're also now on my friends list. Great bunch that keep info going the whole time.

I'll do another one this weekend just in case this one somehow didn't count.

Try to stick with the team.
Try to find a match on a bigger, more open map like Condor, Ghost, Giant, or Hydra so you can run out of the firezones. Adrenaline module III helps a lot with that.
You will most likely have to use all your equipment, -your missiles especially- in the later waves (above 6) so try to consume your equipment, and use them ONLY if really necessary.
What character and weapon are you using BTW?

It's a great map to do it, just stay really tight, if you get the four location objective, the other three simply stay away and keep doing the circle as you are always flanking.

Can't believe you just recommended a novice play Reapers/Gold/Condor.

Hmm...I'm guessing the squad goal would be a solo run?
If it's not a solo run, then things get really, really awkward.
Or then you just have someone to help you out...if you know what I mean.
That would be "Operation Ejaculation" then:lol:

That sorted it!
Now a quick bronze game so I don't get disconnected from the gold on wave 10.

Can't believe you just recommended a novice play Reapers/Gold/Condor.In my experience, there is no map that leads to wipes half as frequently against any opponent on gold as Condor. Reactor is a breeze by comparison. Ghost, Giant, and Hydra are all solid recommendations though. Just avoid Condor like the ****ing plague.
Agreed, stay out of Condor

Goddess is even worse in my opinion. Pretty map to look at but HELL to actually play on while being shot at from 5 different directions the. entire. match.

i find it really easy for anyone to do reapers if you all whole up with biotics on glacier i mean i got like 600 k credits doing that yesterday with 4 adepts two smash adepts aka ex cerberus and 2 randoms adepts to set off biotic explosions smash guards limit to behind cover at mid point of both stair cases and the adepts play the ranged game from downstairs calling out enemies or you could look up speed runs and change there enemy to reapers and see how it goes
Yep --- Reaps on Glacier -- with AJ and BUBBLE OF DOOM -- good times
I did what you guys did/talk about lol I can't believe we made it hahahaha, thanks

Does allied Goal require FULL extraction?
Squad goal = lone survivor, partial extraction, full extraction?
This is kind of antithesis to people doing gold then... People wanting commendations will do gold but have a difficult time with full extraction, which in turn takes away from people getting one on bronze/silver.
Just pugged 3 games (2 partials and a full), and damn I think I will be playing novaguard every single game against reapers now =D

Not just you. Jade is not a map I would recommend to anyone not experienced with Reapers/Gold.
There are a number of ways objectives can get tricky, a few horrible disable devices locations, long lines of sight for Marauders and Ravagers, spawn points that are designed to punish players more than any other map (you can run through a completely empty room and before you're even 2 meters from the exit door a newly-spawned Marauder will be gunning you down from behind), and Banshees and Brutes will easily corner players for sync kills and movement-blocking melees, respectively.

I can't believe people to that kind of thing for fun. Going back to Silver where it's more reasonable.
From what I gather the squad goal is any kind of extraction (last-one-standing, partial, or full) but the allied goal is full extraction only.

Right, it's pretty hard if you make the mistake of trying to hold out at the L-shaped cover next to the cranes at the bottom. If you hold the "top level", you should be fine. You have a lot of space to maneuver on the map, and the spawns of the top area are pretty easily controllable. With 2-2 players on the two sides of that part of the map, it's doable (and I usually play with randoms).
EDIT:
I agree that there are easier maps to do it though.
