People would abuse it. Ever played Gears of War and performed exceedingly better then the host? Kicked.

Oops, too late.

well, for me (and this is just my opionion, others may feel differently, and love XBOX), that is a big part problem. The insults, racist comments and obnxiousness really comes out on the XBOX live chat. The anonimity and physical distance can really bring out the "Dark" side....

Whoa, you been hanging with some wrong people then. I never got any of that.

Yes, we need that. Unlike many other games, you need 3 kicks to pass the vote. It won't be abused, except if 3 friends are playing together. But in PUGs? Nah. Most people kick because some players are bad, leech, glitch, or are AFK. Which seem good reasons to me.

You can't play CoD if you can't take the heat of disappointment. Oh I also fixed your post so you can climb from under the rock thats lazily sat on your head so I can open your eyes to reality instead of ignorant bs people like you tend to believe. It ain't just magically one thing but if you can't accept reality do not reply to me. I will ignore you.

Oh yeah, because I want this to be like Left 4 Dead and get kicked for literally no reason.

Actually, no, many wouldn't.

Far too prone to abuse to be worth it unfortunately.

Pretty much.

That's reason enough to not implement it.

We don't in fact know why "most people" kick. We have only anecdotal testimony, unless you're sitting on some rigorous statistical data I'm unaware of. If a player is bad, leeching, glitching or AFK, he can be kicked from the next lobby, and the team has the option to wipe (if no one's using consumables) to hasten that. There are anti-leeching and anti-AFK measures already in place, and BioWare has shown concern about these issues.

Someone who has glitched does not deserve to be kicked from the game for that reason alone. He had no control over that game-breaking bug, and he shouldn't lose all credits and experience (and equipment if applicable) because he happened to glitch out.

And if you get a bad player, oh well. Your chance to get rid of him was in the lobby when you could see his character, level, weapons, mods, equipment and gear, and possibly even communicate with him. To propose that another player who doesn't meet your standards should lose out on everything because you got frustrated and couldn't wait for a few more minutes to kick him from the post-game lobby is more than a little self-centered.

It's a bad idea on paper, but with tweaking it could turn out to be a great one!

Once a player meets certain criteria within a match they become eligible for kickin.

I like it.

For this to be a valid argument you have to state what you mean by 'criteria'.

murder is a bad idea on paper, but with tweaking it could turn out to be a great one!

Once a person meets certain criteria within their life they become eligible for murder.

I like it.

Because it's so awesome getting kicked for frivolous reasons that I need to get kicked after burning equipment and wasting 20 minutes of my life.

honestly

I don't think the entire team will kick you a player for no reason. have you played L4D2? You need three Votes not one

Hey there.  Just for the record, I play xbox... a lot... and I've been fortunate that I've never come across anyone in an ME3 lobby who's been insulting or offensive in any way.  Maybe one or two people who got a little full of themselves, but that's it.  (Red Dead Redemption is another story, though...)  It's too bad the 'box has this kind of rep, and I feel bad for anyone who's had to deal with that kind of stuff when they're trying to enjoy a game.  :(

Given that, I can't imagine anyone doing anything that would provoke the need for an in-game kick, when you could just kick them from the lobby afterwards.  If they were being really offensive, there is the mute button idea.

I don't support. A patently bad idea when you take into account the average social intelligence, empathy and skill level of XBL players.

it's a great idea. I'm a PC user btw. Ive played L4D2 it's very good. You need three votes. Not everyone on the team is going to kick the player for frivilous reasons

Severely optimistic about the intelligence of average people playing online. I've been harassed and kicked from lobbies for my voice sounding 'black'. I won't use the word they actually used.

That's because you're probably a decent and considerate person, but bear in mind that there are many, many people out there who are not and who would gladly take the opportunity to be a ****** for no reason other than that they're having a bad day or think your pink Drell has gay overtones or something.

Yes we do.

And it isn't as if you are going to get kicked for "frivolous" reasons if it takes a unanimous vote from the rest of the team to kick.

Probably the most Intelligent answer. I support this.
