I hoped to see fast paced close quarters action, but most of the time they're just sniping with the widow.
Does shadow strike have a maximum range, unlike charge then?

How much lower is what i want to know, given its RoF. If its at least Katana damage then it might not be bad.

This biotic power fires a burst of energy in a straight line in front of the user, similar to the Phantom's palm blast. The blast takes careful aiming since it has a narrow hit cone, but it does a great job of staggering enemies, even the Atlas. You can't abuse it too often, however, since it costs roughly half your maximum shields to cast

That thing saved my butt a lot of times.
Its two attacks though, a melee followed by a shockwave. Seems to have a low cooldown too, and can travel through cover.

Also, I expect pistols are gonna get really OP with their own ULM.
The ULM are gonna come into play, but at the same time the combination mods that you'd actually want (high velocity barrels, for example) are going to increase the weight of the weapon.
It's going to definitely be interesting to fiddle around with the stuff though.
