Okay, so the from some more careful study of the destroyer video. In the beggining he toggles his armor twice. The second toggle doesn't turn the armor off. Not sure exactly what that means. Homing grenades is NOT a passive power like Prox Mine, it had a nade counter. Missle launcher ability did dick for damage, the video was on bronze and wasn't even hitting non shielded targets for half life. I guess we'll have to see if and how things can be specced out to make them different or more powerful in the future.

and here i was waiting for my vengeance on geth rocket troopers...

Am I the only one that actually find Annihilation Field, Electric and Biotic Slashes useful? I've always been a melee kind of guy though *puts DC on Cannibal, runs in, heavy melee then AF for BE etc, TP dodge and melee....* *Cloaks, does SS then ES at crowd* *charge, TP, BS, TP, BC, TP etc etc*

All the videos were nice. Just sucked that the fury user only used a locust.

Theres a min or 2 of it in the gamespot livestream I linked where you see him toss some grenades and drop the pylon but there is no visible HUD so you can't see how faster it supplies him.

second activation was the missle launcher, it does small damage but fires automatically without having to trigger it, it's not meant for total devastation, it's constant extra damage dealt that you don't have to think about. Also this means that the Destroyer has no need for cooldown at all, and doesn't need to worry about weapon weight. Which means that the new high damage weapon mods that add weight won't have much of a penalty for this class.

The second toggle is him activating the missile launcher. You can see it light up on his shoulder. Where did you see a nade counter for homing grenades? Could you show a video? I've only seen one video amidst three hours of footage with the engineer, and I couldn't see any power counters. He used his homing grenades very freely though and at regular intervals.

Paladin not looking too good.

Wouldn't say that, rather the guy playing the Paladin wasn't doing too much. The pistol looks awesome though, I saw someone say in a different thread that it looks like it would suck, quite the opposite as it would seem.

The Paladin has so much potential, the shield itself can block a Brute's charge attack. Snap Freeze looks like a great crowd-control ability for the weaker enemies, combined with a "freeze bomb" specced Incinerate it can be extremely deadly. The other new ability, can't recall its name, also looks pretty interesting in lowering defenses. Can't wait to see the Paladin in the hands of someone better. And of course to try it myself lol.

There wasn't another new ability. The Sentinel has Snap Freeze, Incinerate, and Energy Drain.

Oh, I thought it was the logo for the omnishield.

How do you reckon one deploys the shield, if the hotkeys are taken up by Snapfreeze, Incinerate, and EDrain? *is curious*

I'm pretty sure to deploy the shield, you hold down the melee button, and when you release it, you perform a shield bash.

Hmmmm, I hope it's a toggle, otherwse that could get annoying. Hopefully it's hold to deploy, then tap to shield-bash, and hold again to... sling? Sheathe? Dematerialize?

I think that it could be quite useful.  It would prevent melee attacks from being interrupted by fire or by other melee attacks.

Here's what i think Paladin is useful for.....Medic, you go in Rambo, pull out shield on top of dead mate to refill your shield, revive him then pull out shields again to recharge then get back into safe spot, maybe depending on enemies throw a Snap Freeze then revive guy. Paladin looked meh BUT I see potential

Hold the button down, don't tap.

But that just sprints, doesn't it?

Eric since you are here can you confirm whether the sentinel can move while the shield is deployed or not ? (because it didn't seem like it) :s

I'm going to have to move both my hands to the right side of the controller. -_- I was hoping it would be an ability that could be toggled, like TA, but would lower accuracy and recharge a bit.
