It doesn't look like a 'professional show case trailer' because it isn't, it's just gameplay footage. Surely that was, well, obvious?Ragnakuna wrote...

Great to see information of the classes getting out and show casing the their powers but really BioWare - presentation is everything. We didn't wanna see the Shadow or Fury use gunplay, we wanted to see the characters shine in their roles. Please, next time with a huge content update - take the time to film proper gameplay. Pleaaaaaaaaaase.
That might be the job of the trailer guy.. unforunately we won't see his work til the same day the content releases _-_
Well that's just the thing, it doesn't look like a professional show case trailer but vid cap'ing a goup of dev's screwing about on the new maps and not trying to show the extent of the classes - their abilities and unique combat systems (melee, avoidance, traits).

So is Fury a robot? Or is she just wearing a mask?
It's been said that they're all human.
Yeah, but her head looks completely robotic. With a robot mounth and everything. I mean when you hear her voice she doesn't sound like a robot but still...

She is just wearing some sort of mask. Probably does something to biotic powers I guess.
(I am not suggesting that it boosts damage just saying from an artistic/lore perspective. Like how the argus is a modiffied mattock.)

Yeah, that makes sense.
It's a pretty funky mask.

Does that shield stop all incoming fire? If so it'd be useful for tanking geth.
Yeah, it does. Also helps in some hacking zones if you are the man that ends up out of cover. But there is a video somewhere that shows it stopping a brute from damaging the Paladin during its charge. Broke and stumbles you back though. Probably the reason it is stationary is since I think it doesn't kill your shield when it breaks.

You can still pretend your one of the 300 Spartans and hold off a brute charge.Serge_THE_GREAT wrote...
Man, now I am sad that I can't move with the tech shield. Now I can't shout 'Charging Star!' and pretend to play as Captain America.

first impressions:
electric/biotic slash needs to be either able to be cancelled or have huuuge dr/invincibility frames to not get you killed bronze
shadow strike looks ****ing awesome, shadow looks like one of the only infils i'll use
paladin can't move while shield is up. fuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!
destroyer missle launcher was "unimpressive" to say the least
acolyte looks like it just plain sucks
Yeah I also agree with you. All 3 weapons look pretty weak and unimpressive. Not looking forward to the Paladin or Destroyer either. The slayer is kinda meh also because the Phase Disruptor takes all your barrier.

I think one of the ranks for PD makes it only take part of your shields, because another video of the Slayer shows it only taking up about half.Cdr. Pwn wrote...

The first video, he was being shot by a cannibal at the same time. It looks like it takes about maybe a quarter or so. Anyways, if you use charge effectively, you should be okay when using it. I mean nova drains barrier too. And the vanguard is supposed to be high risk high rewards.

Yeah, one of the Reddit players said it takes less than 1/4 when spec'ed to do so. I think otherwise it takes 1/3.

I seriously doubt this is what N7 operatives actually look like. They seem more like flashy mercenaries than rigidly trained military personnel.

Force Red!
But I have to admit, using the Kasumi's outfit for the fury seems a little weird.

Shepard wears any damn armor he/she pleases, as any N7 operative does.
