no you could talk about Twilight in this manner and I'd still hate you.
Your attitude makes me hate humanity.

Have you ever considered that Internet might not be the right place for you? Mayhaps you are too pure of soul to be here sire. Sometimes people in Internet dislike your favorite movies, even ones made by Nolan. I suppose it can sometimes be a heavy burden to try and NOT take it personally enough to start feeling hatred of  humanity due to people who dislike all the wrong movies:D  Really my lord. you are too sensitive to be here, it does you no good!

I believe fusion bombs produce a lot less radiation than the ‘regular' fission ones. Though I'm not sure if the remaining amount is still high.

I imagine it would be enough to pose a significant health hazard to all nearby settlements, though it might not be quite as cataclysmic as the fallout from, say, the bombings in Japan back during World War II, or from the Chernobyl meltdown.

I won't harp on this point, though - Bats still saved the city from complete and utter destruction, and fallout or no, that certainly counts for something.

I thought it was really good, but inferior to The Dark Knight and maybe Batman Begins. The idea of Bruce being Batman for only around a year then hanging up the cape bothers me. The pacing of the first act felt off. I didn't care for Talia's treatment, I always saw her as more sympathetic and less of an extremeist. And for pete sakes, couldn't they just have given Blake the name Richard Greyson? I know he's a composite, but it bothers me.

The fights between Bane and Batman were great. Catwoman was perfect. The acting was top notch, and I loved Batman being stealthy again before his first fight with Bane. And lord, the brutality level of the film. Bane was wonderful.

That would ruin the surprise, wouldn't it?

I saw it again last night and I have to say, it's not that great. Selina and Blake (Grayson) were easily the best portrayed, but the introduction of so many new characters left me underwhelmed. I needed to see more from Selina and Bruce to believe the ending. I needed more involvement from Talia to believe her motivation. I needed more history between Bane and Talia to buy the affect they had for one another.

Still the portrayal was miles beyond any third installment of any comic book movie ever made. That alone makes it worth watching. It's not a bad movie, but for an almost 3 hour long film, I shouldn't be left feeling like there's chunks of the story missing.

To me there was something wonky about the passage of time in the film. I never got the sense Bruce was a recluse for so long cause he's up and running near the start.

Agreed. In about 5 minutes he pulls an Oliver Queen, then drops out of a window five minutes later. It would've been better if the "slow" portions of the story took place in the first act. Not only does that have better flow, but it would make the second act feel more whole.

Still, I'm optimistic for a movie about Selina and Grayson on their own now that Nolan showed how you can portray them as serious characters in film.

I was talking to my buddy and we were in agreement that it should of been a two part movie, where the first one ends with Batman getting "broken" by Bane. While, the second part ends up developing more of Selina, Talia and focus on that extremes that Gotham was about to go through because of Bane and obviously, Batman re-developing his strength (while fleshing out more backstory for Bane, whoever else).

Either way, I loved the movie, I just believe there was too much and it seemed like some parts could of used more time, but I'm fine with the flaws.

Yeah, it just didn't quite flow together the way it should have.

Sorry for the late reply forgot all about this to be honest
Sounds like an awful lot of projecting.

Well there was a 10mins break. Tbh the movie isn't that long. Ever did a iron man-ish Lord of the Rings - Trilogy or Star Wars Trilogy-Double-Feature.

The movie was good. If there will be a crappy nightwing/robin movie with only Jay G-L and without Nolan-Brothers it will still be way better than all the Marvel 'pearls' I won't watch without being tossed in a ground and be forced by someone or die. I rather die than watch Hulk actor 4.5 and Eomer or was it Dredd? as Dovakiin's fashion victim lil' brother.

Goes without saying it's better than other super hero movies - just about anything is. Those are a dime a dozen these days.

Saw it and liked in. Bane's voice kinda caught me by surprise. Talia was obvious, but well played. The whole "sleep with you one day, stab you the next" deal is not too unlike her comic counterpart.

That's just it, there's nothing to suggest she and Bane were involved beyond anything deeper than a sibling relationship. In the comics, she really only touched Bruce, so that much was consistent.
