haha or just like every other homegrown terrorist, he'll never see court. Hint at class warfare or some "mastermind" and he'll "fall" or be killed by some random prisoner.

But yeah done with this..we'll know plenty soon.

So

Is the Batcar still a giant tank?

Well first thing I hear on waking up is the shooting. Sure it sucks whats going on in the middle east but this is more close to home. Besides its easy to imagine ourselves sitting in our seats when this dickweed comes in and shoots us. Its harder to imagine having a wedding in the middle east and having it bombed.
I haven't even seen the movie and it feels tarnished like I'll feel guilty for enjoying it now.

I understand that tragedies like this are happening every day all over the world, but that doesn't lessen this one. Please, please let us mourn our family, friends and neighbors without talking about media conspiracies or the like.

I hope that piece of sub-human scum receives the pain he inflicted upon others a tenfold. The world would be better off for it. It may be primitive, but the principle of 'eye for an eye' should apply here.

Why am i not surprised this happened? This world is full of psychopaths. A death penalty is simply not enough.

Good thing it was in America, i hope their justice system is better than here in the UK, he could simply say 'Human rights breached' and simply walk of without a single **** given and then sue the families of his victims and claim benefits right after and live like a king.

In other news, a peadophile claimed 'the girl forced him down and stuck her tongue into his mouth' and was spared jail: http://www.thesun.co...o-kiss-her.html

What kind of bull is that? A seven year old forced him down, sure that makes sense.

Our justice system needs changed. Badly.

I wasn't in the jury, so I really don't know what the cases of both the prosecution and defence was. It does however seem a bit wrong to me what verdict both the jury and then the Judge came up with.

But did I see the case? Did I know all the facts? I'm quite simiply not in any position to judge, but I do feel he should have been punished (based on what little I do know). Nevertheless I didn't see the case. This has to be emphasised.

Going back to the film. I enjoyed Batman Begins. I enjoyed Batman The Dark Knight. Is Batman The Dark Knight Rises any good?

...And an "expert" on psychology just made a correlation between fiction, videogames, and the massacre in Colorado. "He's been rehearsing this thing again and again through different mediums, and his big day finally comes, much like a wedding."

Don't you just love when stuff like this "happens" around ellection time and all the "experts" beat the same drum?

ITs them there Guns, or its them Video games, or the Net! Won't be surprised if this leads to the defense act being abused in the least.

Yup thats really disgusting.  People like that are capitlizing on this tragedy by turning it around on popular entertainment.  Like we haven't been through this so many times already.  Mortal Kombat and Eminem are to plame for Columbine *rolls eyes*

Considering the arguably slight trend here, it may be a long time for another Batman movie. Or some level of security at showings.

'Experts' like that idiot make me heave. This foolish short-sightedness is not what is needed right now. Rather, there must be swift and decisive action to show that this kind of behaviour from madmen will not be tolerated. I do not believe in capital punishment, so the criminal should instead rot away and never see the light of day again.

Well given your history here I bet you'd enjoy this one too.

I thought it was great in any case. There was some debate as to whether The Dark Knight was best, but who cares. It's awesome, go see it.

Lol you don't know much about American Prisons I take it?

Plus I wonder what made him do it. If its a hate against the government or a controlling sigment of society...then no we really should not touch him. Unless we are sanctioning doing such. In which case we have no point in being in the Mid East or telling Syria crap. If we punish him we have no right judging others. But ah well.

But I dissagree on this being short sighted. alot of money is to be had in control, and every year political leaders use cases like this to take more.

@ android654 I knew someone was gonna blame it on that. The problem is this guy needed to be locked up long ago. Instead we medicate these people and send them on their way like it's no big deal. This guy was creating bombs in his apartment and no one took notice?

@ Olaf_de_IJsbeer
I want to see him die so he can't get out at any time but life in prison is a possibility too. This guy is going to get a heavy sentence that's for sure.

The U.S. prison system, along with the privitzation of it means more people are imprisoned for longer. There's a monetary incentive behind keeping people alive and in jail. There's nothing to be gaind from letting the go or executing them.

We both know that isn't true. When it comes to shootings, everyone in punditry shuts up. If they were going to do anything with gun violence, they would've done so after Rep. Giffords got shot. In actuality they just drummed up support against gun control.

The film is very good. But like The Dark Knight, I have some issues with the ending.

Ehh strikes me as slavery...in fact my local prison system has been taking people in mass and forcing them on public work projects for minor offenses. The state should oversee the prison system. But hey, money, money, money, yeah.

No see I don't mean guns, I'm suuuuure someone will drum that, but in the end make a move like this and this happens daily...to members of the senante.  I ment Movies, Games, Sopa. For years they've been trying to push this, and given the ignorance on the subject, if some crap like "call of duty made me do this, or I learned to build bombs on the net" is spoken by him...well are you so sure Sopa and other crazy legistlation aimed at enteriantment and the like, won't pass?
I'm not. With enough popular support, it will be passed in stunning solidarity.

Hmm...I'll wait to see it on TV then, wasn't a big fan of the Dark Knight myself.

@ Ter... blah see like is it, good no matter the movie goers age, or good for movies now?  I mean is this like Avengers good?

You know, people are asking if the movie is good, which implies they haven't seen it yet and probably don't want to read spoilers.

The movie was good but my one little grip was that it wasn't Bat-focused enough.

Also: R.I.P for the people who have lost their lives.

Personally, I think the Fed should be behind it, but it's a moot point now.

True, and people will come up with stuff everytime. Anonymous gets some press, and they start drafting Sopa and Pipa. Some teenager gets pissy in the late 90's and they try to censor Eminem or Marylin Manson. Etc. It's adventageous, but then again politics always is.

I prefer to see films in the last showings, because there's less people to pollute the atmosphere for the movie. This however is a pretty well written action flick and it's worth the 10 bucks, or whatever they charge in your area.
