On Bane's voice, I found it pretty comical. He sounded like Sean Connery on helium alot of the time. I laughed when I first heard it.

I saw it a few hours ago and it was pretty awesome. Anne Hathaway surprised me as Catwoman, I really wasn't expecting her to be any good but she did really well. Joseph Gordon Levitt was the star of the show though for me, he was excellent. It rocked, although the guy sat beside me kept falling asleep and waking himself up by falling forwards.

Better than the Dark Knight? The Joker gave off the aura that he really was a threat to Gotham, the intense acting he gave off was superb.
How was Bane to the Joker? Did he actually give off the impression that he is going to be a massive threat?

I don't want to say too much and spoil it for you. But Bane is definately a threat, don't worry about that. I'm not really sure how to compare him to The Joker because well...he's The Joker. But he's an excellent villain.
I think it was on a par with The Dark Knight. I don't want to say it's better because I just watched it fresh so I still have the buzz and feel I'd still be influenced by that.
If you're on the fence about seeing it I'd urge you to go. I honestly don't think you'd regret it at all.

For those who have seen it:
what did you all think of Bane's voice? When I first heard it, I was caught off-guard, since it was nothing like what I expected him to sound like. For the first half of the movie, I kept flip-flopping on whether or not Nolan made a (minor) mistake there.
His voice and character were so epic, IMO. I loved it, the way he went out though... lmao.

Anne Hathaway did well, yeah.
So did Joseph Gordon Levitt, although I kind of wished for more Batman instead.

I think the best way to describe it is like this. Ledger's Joker was the perfect anti-thesis of The Batman in every part of his character. Hardy's Bane is not just Batman's equal, but in many ways is his superior. If you think about it that way, it gives you a good idea about what to expect when comparing those two characters.

Yeah it was a bit lacking in Bat-action but I think that kind of made the bits that were there feel more epic. When Batman is on the screen sh*t generally happens.
It was kind of Levitt(I actually didn't catch his characters name, someone was coughing) Catwoman, Bruce Wayne and Bain were carrying the story with Batman punctuating it. If that makes sense.

They did a really good job tying it in to the first two movies as well. I heard Nolan wasn't planning a trilogy, but they sure tied them all together with this one.

The normal crew did a good job as always, Cain's performance as Alfred made me cry, that scene was just so dam powerful.

Loved it. There were parts that could've been done better, but it was an amazing film and brought the series some closure.
Didn't really involve events from The Dark Knight too much though- I imagine they wanted to leave everything Joker related out due to Ledger's death. Most of TDK stuff in the movie was based on Dent.
Not a problem though. A solid flick.

Funny enough, Joker does in fact win because of Bane telling Gotham the truth about Dent and the cover up. So even though Joker does not show up, his goal was met thanks to Bane.
*No longer spoilers.
