Oh man, I can already imagine what a Destroyer Shep would be like in the SP. It would make the original soldier class look like it just came of boot camp. Make it happen Bioware!

AR with Devastator mode and a Harrier?

Screw the Harrier, give me mah Revenant! B)

Shepard Soldier with Destoyer mode on Adrenaline Rush with un-nerfed Typhoon! Get my drift? :wizard:

With marksman as well.
BIOWARE, GIVE ME NAOW!

Would be awesome, though really I'd rather have the Destroyer as the baseline for a new class entirely. I don't care for the Soldier's multiple ammo powers when really, you find one you like and stick with it (likely incendiary for the classes that have it). That's why I never could enjoy playing as the ME2 and ME3 Soldier. Until new classes (or advanced class training which gives multiple new abilities for the classes that already exist) is given to us for SP, I'm stuck playing as a Sentinel.

Gameplay-wise Shepard laughts at any MP character.

But yeah, I'd definitely love a story driven DLC in which Shepard gets new flashy N7 things, it would be a nice reason to visit some new super-secret-1337 Alliance station.

You know what, that actually sounds like a decent way to introduce the new classes/powers. Now here's to hoping Bioware delivers what we want. BW could go the simple route though and just add them in as extra DLC (like weapon packs). That way there would be no awkward moments when doing story DLC, getting to the point where you recieve your spiffy new gear/abilities, and you...already have them.

Who knows? Maybe they did it off-the-record  Maybe they punch Yangs and head-butt Krogans in training? :P

OP needs to quit saltin' up Shep's Koolaid. I don't recall any of those N7 scrubs saving the galaxy. Twice.

He saved it three times... unless you chose refuse

I'm sure the Alliance took a good look at all that Cerberus tech Shepard has after the arrest, they could be trying to develop a small supersoldiers army (a.k.a the new N7s) somewhere outside Earth.

I could be a good version of Pinnacle Station with some story, one or two new characters, N7 squadmate, secondary missions as a training for those new habilities...

Too bad it will never happen :?

Shepards got: Better training ( more powers), better equipment: Can buy everything he/she wants right off teh bat and not pray to the gods for a good weapon, has hot alien lovers, headbutted a krogan, took down MULTIPLE Thresher maws, took down reapers teh size of skyscrapers almost singlehandedly.
Yeah I think shepard still take the cake and runs with it.
Shepard also has the charisma to bring unity to a galaxy in crisis.
Charisma is a rare power as is diplomacy.

That's part of why Shepard is better than the N7 MP guys. He is more than the sum of his training. He is someone who united soldiers to face impossible odds or was able to survive as the last man standing against deadly challenges (the background chosen when creating the character)

He is able to unite members of different alien races on an Alliance, human run ship and lead them to battling planet destroying ennemies.

The fact that he can buy all the stuff he wants only comes from being a specter though, position which was given to him because of the previously mentioned reasons.

So while I would love to see SP Shepard getting the possibility to choose among the N7 MP powers, I still have to say he's the BAWS compared to those guys.

It's also outright stated that Shepard's powers hit harder than the MP characters equivs do. Shepard also has much greater flexibility (Far more skills to choose from) as well as a much wider selection choice of weapons and armor.

Shepard is still better.

Plus he can carry three non-nerfed weapons into battle and still have a very quick cooldown.

Lol it's kind of true. Honestly I hope at some point we see DLC that adds some of the MP skills to single player like the firepower pack did for weapons. And not as bonus powers so we can only take one at a time at the expense of existing bonus powers, I mean add them as base class skills to the classes they make sense with. I for one would take the demolisher's set up as-is on my engineer Shep more than happily. Arc grenades + electric slash would be pretty beast along the un-nerfed TC on an infiltrator Shep, too. :D

Hahaha, this is just a joke topic. Of course Shepard is awesome.

I was only factoring in the coolness and flashy new stuff N7 have.

Well, unlike the new N7, (s)he wasn't trained as a GI Joe.

Anyway, the only 2 individuals in the Milky Way who can Reave => Push are Commander Shepard and Niftu Cal.

BS.  My Shepard has Area Reave, Singularity, Cluster Grenades, and Double (Area) Throw specced for detonations.  To him, the Reapers are just a bunch of cheap fireworks, and he's got a big book of matches.

I'll tell you what I got bombarded with when I made this thread upon Earth DLC's release.

Shepard isn't limited to 3 moves. :o

Ah, but you see...you forget one thing.

Shepard still has all of the power and radius of the original biotic explosions. As well as an un-nerfed Falcon.

Just throwing that out there.

After playing MP for long enough, I never used more than three moves with Shepard. Hell I didn't need them. Instead I would basically just do....

*Shepard Primes Target*
*Liara Detonates Target*
*Shepard Primes Target*
*Liara Detonates Target*
*Shepard Primes Target*
*Liara Detonates Target*
*Shepard Primes Target*
*Liara Detonates Target*

And so on so forth

Nothing is cooler than the biotic teleport. Your argument is dismissed.  Also no Shadow Strike for Shepard. No cool shield. No laz0r beam palm blaster. No sword. :o

And don't tell me he/she doesn't need all this stuff cuz s/he's Shepard. S/he totally does need all that stuff because HE/SHE IS SHEPARD! :P
