You can get more melee damage bonuses than power damage bonuses :)

All of the Fitness ones, +50% from new weapon mods, +50% from TC Evo 3, +40% (For me at least) from TC extra damage. Wow.

Yes, Shadow Strike can do a ton of damage.

Assuming you have 200% cooldown, how fast will Shadow Strike, well, cooldown, after you usei t? Also, please don't nerf Shadow Strike in a few weeks:crying:

Guys,i know that we have to try things first, but i was thinking about making a shadow melee build focused on cqc and power damage for shadow strike/electric slash
Basically it's
6tac cloac(utility)
6/0shadow strike
0/6 electric slash
6alliance training
6 fitness (melee dmg)

It would be really hard and it could not be good for platinum or even gold but we can always try :P

Shadow Strike damage is considered melee so it gets damage bonuses from Fitness upgrades and melee equipment, and not power damage upgrades.

Electric Slash is considered power damage though so it behaves like other powers.

Good to know. It'll be worth getting the melee bonus in TC then.

I think that is what they were shooting for when they made this class.  Few people take the duration, melee damage, or the power evolution, so they made a class that makes good use of ALL the underused Tactical Cloak options!  It really is an impressive concept.

I'd say about as well as every other melee class. Use ability -> get magnet-grabbed -> insta-killed.

I'm hoping, with all of its damage upgrades, to at least be able to ohk a Phantom from cloak with it. And when I do, it will be oh so sweet, and it shall be done with a huge grin on my face. "Oh crap, Phantom!"*appears out of nowhere and kills it*"Got it!"

I'd assume anything that puts your character in reeling stagger (most enemy melee, Atlas missile) would cancel the roll, just as they cancel melee and such.

Yes, the teleport evades follow the same rules as regular evades (rolls) except they go through cover and walls :)

Quick questions... since Shadow Strike behaves like Charge (teleporting you INTO the frey of battle). Do you get any defensive benefits from using it such as damage reduction or shield recharge? Also does killing with Shadow Strike trigger the Evolution 4 Martial Artist evolution for Fitness?

I'm gonna get everything except training(or whatever's between power X and fitness), I was gonna go shields in fitness but........I'll just use me some cyclonic modulators, put my hydraulic joints V on and use Strenght enhancer as well........OHK even in gold? I think so, well that's my first build I'll try, if i can kill everything with melee and not need ES....I love the Shadow already(but I won't SS a Banshee unless no aura XD.......) wait since SS is melee-based that means even she does the thing that she puts barrier/shield nullifying powers up, she'll still take damage right?

Cloak 6, Damage, Melee Damage, Bonus Power
Shadow Strike, 6 (Don't know evos yet)
Alliance Training, 6, Damage Specced.
Fitness,6, Melee Specced.

Eviscerator with new Omni Bayonet and HC Barrel.
I see good things for the future, and bad things for anything that isn't an Elite Mook.

Power damage in training doesn't affect SS cause it's melee, it's up a few posts back....

That's why I said Damage specced, for the Eviscerator.

I may have two builds for it.
TC:Duration,Melee
Shadow Strike: 6
Electric Slash:6
Passive:3
Fitness:6
Or 5 in Electric Slash and 5 in Passive.

The Fagnan has spoken an infinite truth.
All glory to the melee shadow.
A reign of muscle and steel is dawning.
Let it be so.
For not one will escape cold steel.

On a slightly more serious note: Infillys don't really need shields and health. The Geth infilly is an example of this and if shadow strike is full melee and there's more melee buffs then it'll be goooooood only problem = Lack of significant aoe powers if you skip the Electro slash. Course I really don't like the Ele slashes wind up time... does the wind up animation do damage?

The first three slashes are actual melee attacks so they do damage.

Shadow dancer, hell yeah, love this game.
I would love a Varren pet with her.

Anyway, yeah the Shadow and the Slayer seems really rewarding gameplay wise. Guess I will go with melee build for my Slayer as well.

... Wouldn't that be just even more reason to go melee if the first 3 slashes are all melee damage aswell?

This class seems more tailored to melee than any other Infiltrator. Not maxing out melee fitness in light of its bonus to Shadow Strike would seem a waste.
