This is what I was thinking about. Just need to get some info on the Electric Slash evolutions to figure out if it's worth investing in the passive much.Krozuhsky wrote...
I may have two builds for it.
TC:Duration,Melee
Shadow Strike: 6
Electric Slash:6
Passive:3
Fitness:6
Or 5 in Electric Slash and 5 in Passive.

Anyone else think being able to dodge through walls could be a gamebreaker? I love the idea, but it seems like the best tool for survivability ever and the characters that can do it should have some other drawbacks because of this IMO. They are not more squishy than the regular humans (same amount of health/ shields), their powers seem at least as powerful, and they can friggin teleport.
How could it be a gamebreaker? In the footage we saw terrible players playing apparently amazing classes terribly. Good players will make good use of it, bad players won't. And with Platinum I doubt a teleport dodge will save you completely anyway.

How could it not? Oh, something's shooting me, I'm outta here *teleports through the nearest wall*. The asari and drell dodge make their survivability great if you know how to use them even though they have low health and shields. These characters get a superior dodge and the same amount of health/ shields as the regular humans. I personally like for characters to limit me some way or the other, if I have a really agile character I want it to be squishy, makes it a lot more interesting to play.
But again, we'll have to wait and see before any judgment is passed.

Just did the math. With full melee spec on fitness, full melee equips, the new omniblade thing (from what I've heard it's a 50% boost), and damage/melee spec'd TC you can get up to a 350% boost. That means that you could do 4.5 times the normal damage for Shadow Strike. Holy crap.

You can indeed use it from cloak, and then use it a second time to uncloak, confimred by a Dev.tonnactus wrote...
If shadow strike is power,it shouldnt decloak the shadow if bonus power is choosen, rigth?(despite melee)

If you chose duration, if you chose damage bonus, you'd decloak before 2nd SS....unless Shadow has longer base TCJerZeyCJ2 wrote...

So that means 6/6/3/5/6 (ignoring electric slash for the most part), max melee in fitness, max melee damage for cloak, go to town!
Fantastic.
Edit, yes the quesiton is tactical cloak
- damage, melee, or
- duration, melee, bonus power, or
- damage, melee, bonus power (if SS cooldown is short enough?)
Edit 2: oh wait, no need to go to 5 in the passive if power damage bonuses are only affecting slash. May as well put the points in that instead.
Edit 3: maybe just weapon damage bonuses in the passive then.

You lose Shields. It's like the Asari roll.Killahead wrote...

What's that?
Nah seriously, I never liked the smash/lash stuff, so at least I can easily ignore a similar AoE on this class without losing anything.

And as far as I know, the slashing before the shockwave effect damages enemies around you too. It'll probably work just fine with just Shadow Strike, but having something a bit more beefy for bunched up baddies is probably nice to have.Kronner wrote...
