I'd assume anything that puts your character in reeling stagger (most enemy melee, Atlas missile) would cancel the roll, just as they cancel melee and such.

Yes, the teleport evades follow the same rules as regular evades (rolls) except they go through cover and walls :)

There are some frames, where the character is in "hyperspace" or something (he is not visible). Does he get aoe dmg, and other stuff while in this state?

No I agree with you completely. I've tried the low shields build on say, my drells and **** my life, it's retarded. Don't do it. I play exclusively gold and having such a squishy character is just dumb and unfair to the rest of the team mates. If shadow is going to work in the same principals then honestly **** shadow.

BioWare seems to know how to make all the moves and abilities flashy but are having problems balancing it with the different difficulties. Sure a Shadow might work great on bronze, but if it doesn't work in platinum, isn't there something wrong with your design philosophy?

I don't know, haven't tried the characters so can't say much about them. I really do hope that they're not complete shiite though. Looking forward to playing as the slayer as vanguard is my favorite class :)

Are you saying doesn't work on Gold..?

Im hoping Shadow Strike works as a pseudo charge though. Seriously three second charge time for no shield regen? Im down. As long as theyre invincible while teleporting I dont see a problem. The biggest issue is going to be when SS drops cloak during the beginning of the animation or when damage is achieved. Also where tbe I frames are at if any. Also, can I be seen in cloak during startup? Etc etc?

Hell if its lik Kasumi's and you end up behind the enemy itll be a better charge for like banshees and such

You do end up behind them after the teleporty, where you then take out your sword and slash their back.

I think a Dev said that you can still get staggered when you're doing the dodge, although that may not count the invivsible/teleporting part, wasn't really clear.

Without even playing I can say that you'll get knocked out of the "teleport" part of it. Staggers are (seemingly) pretty hard-coded to interrupt melee and rolls; Biotic Charge (and probably Shadow Strike) is pretty much the only thing you can do that is immune to stagger.

Another interesting question: Does a shadowstrike kill activate material artist?

Then this class would be pure win.

This must be answered :/ lol

You can get more melee damage bonuses than power damage bonuses :)

All of the Fitness ones, +50% from new weapon mods, +50% from TC Evo 3, +40% (For me at least) from TC extra damage. Wow.

Yes, Shadow Strike can do a ton of damage.

Until you get ahold of it later.

So true.  But more than likely what will happen they'll leave it alone... as in it will still do the same dmg per say just the enemies will get another 100k shields and health to componsate  Posted Image
