So I was playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer mode today and in the middle of the match my game froze. It wasn't lag either, there was no game sound and I wait about 30 seconds and nothing, just completely frozen. Anyone have any tips on how to fix it? This used to happen to me when I used disc 1, so I used disc 2 for a while and I never ran into any problems until now. So I guess both discs now get frozen?! Please help me, I would really like to get the commendation pack and I would be really dissapointed if I am unable to because of this issue.

And.....it just froze again, luckily I was able to get one match in and got full extraction against Reapers on gold, so I should be able to get the commendation pack. But I did a silver match after that, and my game froze during the silver match.

I was just on another thread in this forum which was talking about the same thing. Im having the same problem and this was what I wrote on that thread:
This Freezing issue has happened to me THREE times today so far (14July), two of those times was during extractions... it's very annoying.
First time happened after maybe playing for an hour.
I then cleared the system cache, but my next game still froze right on extraction for the second time. And was able to play through a few more games before it froze for the third time.
The past couple weeks it would freeze on me once every few days. Before then, maybe once a week, if that. But for some odd reason, clearing the system cache made it worse for me.
I've had a similar experience where it gradually froze on me from weeks, to days, to hours right before Patch 1.03 came out. I remember at that each time after clearing the system cache, it would prompt me to download a patch when I went to play ME3, or I wouldn't be able to access the EA server (again this was BEFORE Patch 1.03).
And so when Patch 1.03 did come out and was downloaded, it did freeze on me a few hours afterwards. But then I cleared the system cache, and it did NOT prompt me to download a patch while accessing the game since then, and it went back to only freezing once every couple weeks.
So I have no idea why its doing it again..

Maybe what we need to do is delete the patch from the console and re-download it, and maybe that'll fix the problem. I'm gonna try re-installing both discs, clearing system cache, and deleting the title update. Though I'm not sure if deleting the title update is safe.

I'm honestly hoping it isn't a memory leak issue. I only have this problem with two games on my Xbox: this one, and Operation Raccoon City. And ORC is kind of known for being a buggy mess.
Meanwhile, I can play Gears or any of my single player games for hours and hours and be totally fine.

Memory leak? I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

I'm in the same boat but now this brings my frozen tally at wave 10/extraction on silver matches to 30 times. I average 20 mins per silver game. That's 900,000 credits lost, 10 hours of commitment, loss of ammo bonus/ weapon bonus/ armor bonus/ cobra missiles/ ops survival packs/ medi-gels and thermal clips per game...lossed...actually when I think about it Bioware took that away. I want recompensation for my hard work!

I had my game freeze last night 10 seconds from extraction. I've just tried to play 2 matches tonight and have had it freeze up 2/3 of the way through both matches.

You guys tried swapping discs? If it's warm when you take it out of the tray, try using the the other disc for awhile.

indeed have same problem... multiplayer is unplayable for me... freezing used to happen once lets say every 10 games or so but gradually got worse.. now every game freezes.. i am using an older xbox... tried clearing cache, swapping discs but to no avail.. I was hoping that the new dlc would fix this but just played my first game with it, got to extraction and then boom frozen before i could get credits... BIOWARE please fix this!
