Harbinger anyone? It would suck to be Harby's date. Imagine the things he can do.

Steve Cortez
Think if I ever go after a gay romance, I'm more into Kaidan. Cortez is a nice guy, but he's a tad too stereotypical gay. As a good friend, he works, and I like the interaction between Shepard and him - it's a different friendship with a special tone. Somehow I think they two should remain friends.

Excuse me? Steve is hardly stereotypical gay. The stereotypical gay is pretty much a highly feminine male (No offence to anyone reading this). Steve is very far from that...

Lemme explain why I think "stereotypical" - it wasn't meant to be offensive. I don't consider those overly feminine guys as "stereotypical gay" - they simply exaggerate their attitude. Steve is more "normal" and reminds me of at least one guy I know he's gay. And that one is "stereotypical" in a way he's more emotional than a straight dude, he's always neat and such.
Steve simply reminds me of that guy, that's it.
Maybe I simply picked the wrong word.
I'm sorry.
However, Steve simply reminds me of that friend. Or better: he -was- a friend, since I lost contact and have no idea where he lives now. However, the friendship with him was pretty much like non-romanced m!Shep and Cortez. Minus the dead husband.

Okay I don't want to meddle in every discussion but common are you kidding me? Is no one allowed to type an opinion anymore??? @Cptdata said sorry and still you ambush him like he hated gay guys or something. Chill before you make this thread into another bi/gay against straight people!

Ok and since you had one gay friend that reminds you of Cortez it means he's stereotypical? That doesn't even make sense. That's like saying "Oh man, Ashley reminds me of this tomboyish girl i once knew she's such a stereotype!!!!"
You should probably look up the definiton of stereotype because you kinda got it wrong.
