I don't think Ashley's a racist. Doesn't make her any less of a waste of a character to me though.

I'm not sure I can say "never" with any of the romanceable characters (though I don't play me3, so I suppose I shouldn't count them).....so with that in mind, I guess Garrus. Only because he suits my Shepards as bosom buddy, instead of romantic partner. Again though...not of the mind to say 'never'.

 As far as squadmates go that are already romancable (former and current):

Miranda: I'm not a fan of emotionally attached Miranda...Oddly I like the cold, serious business side of her more.

Jacob: For unknown reasons I feel super uncomfortable when Jacob and femshep flirt. Yup...

Thane: When ME2 first came out I was all "Oh sweet! This guy looks badass." When I actually played the game I had no interest in him heh.

I never understand the allure of Kelly Chambers...she annoyed me to no end. She just seemed dumb...

Also Liara. Obvs. Because she's thrust upon you from the beginning and I like her far more in a friend role to Shepard.

I didn't say Allars because I like to pretend she doesn't exist.

@dublin omega 223 and Beep Il. I debated with myself for 5 minutes to post a reponse... carpe diem. Don't you people know nothing about political science, history or military mentality or life. Cause, we Ash fans know she is not a racist. Its not that we are wrong, you are and fail to see our evidence and our reasoning! I have  talked to many ME fans who knows she is not a racist as well, so your line about fans agreeing with your ignorance=you being right is complete BS. You people just fail to understand that and keep spewing that she is.

So, I was given a word of advice to tell people like you two: FRACK YOU!

People who already dislike Ashley are never going to be swayed, and quite frankly don't want to be. So let them spew out their ignorance, I say.

I wasn't being ignorant I was being logical, besides Ash is racist, I know racists when I see them, I had the displeasure of having a few racists as neighbours a while back, until we ran them out of town.

However if you don't think she's racist thats your choice.

Seriously though, I could never romance anyone that wasn't Miranda, Liara or Thane.
