Is there some kind of trick to unlocking the "Play The Majority Of The Game With The Asari" achievement in ME1 on 360?
No matter what I do, I just can't seem to unlock it. I've been to get Liara from Artemis Tau as soon as I'm able, and kept her in the squad ever since, but it still hasn't unlocked... I don't get it!?!?

You'll just need to do a lot of quests with her. Mine didn't unlock until Ilos.

That's the point, apart from the initial Citadel "quests" before you're made a Spectre and get access to the Normandy, I did every quest in the game with Liara in the squad.

I recall people reporting follower achievements not unlocking. I don't think there was ever any explanation/fix for this. The consensus is that you need 50 assignments with Liara.

There's your problem. Those Citadel assignments can add up to enough to make you fall short of the achievement if you don't have Liara along on some of them. The way to go is to do as few Citadel assignments as you possibly can and leave as many as possible to do on a return trip after you've been to Therum and got Liara. You obviously have to do ones that relate to meeting and rescuing Tali because that has to happen before you can be made a Spectre, but there's about a dozen that have no effect on becoming a Spectre if you're not a completionist you don't have to do them at all. You can leave all these - and they're things like the Elcor diplomat/Asari consort/Turian general, the Emily Wong reporter stuff, the waitress spying for C-Sec in Chora's Den, the religious Hanar, Keeper scanning, the business with the embezzling AI.... not an exhaustive list so check the wiki - until you've got Liara with you. Just don't go speak to the people that initiate those assignments and you should be okay.res27772 wrote...
