OP, does the word "exaggeration" mean anything to you?

So let me get this straight; you are now claiming that I am insulting you because I said you didn't understand my question and yet earlier you claimed that you were not insulting me when you insinuated that I was a "stupid jackass".? Seems like something of a double standard.

You were and ironically you are the one that has committed a double standard based on you crying wolf.

StevenG_CT wrote...

Yes, there are multiple definitions for the words "critical" and "critically" but that is where reading comprehension comes into play. When you read a message you need to interpret that appropriate definition based on context. In this case you interpreted my comment on financial success to be expounding upon the question that immediately preceded it when in fact it was merely a response to your coment that I had quoted. It probably should have occured to you that if I was asking about financial success I would have written "financial success" and not "critical success".

Reading coprehension doesn't come into play with a word that has multiple meaning with the same spelling.  Yet you still forget that you brought up financial success then you were proven wrong since you were trying to use a straw-mann.  Either way you're still using a straw-mann whether its "financial success" or "critical success".  I just wanted to add that most movies even when they aren't video game or comic book base don't have "financial success" and "critical success".

I have. Stop acting like you know what i've watched or not. I know you're a yes-man that has to act butthurt just for the sake of acting butthurt people critize stuff that has something to do with Bioware. But this is getting ridiculous.

I'm not being a yes-man at all based on I judge movies and tv shows when I actually watch them not a trailer.  Ironically you're being a no-man based on focusing on a stupid think like animation style, which I would be surprised if you even watched Pixar and Dreamworks movies.  Btw dennoncing a style of animation over a specific look would actually make you look "butthurt" especially when I'm not angry at all.

I have watched several 80's cartoons. I grew up with them. I was a kid and I had no taste.
And NO. I have not watched one single animated DC movie from the last 6-7 years. In fact i've never watched even one of them, ever. I loathe the Anime style. Doen't matter if the story is good. It looks like crap. If I want to watch stop-motion animation I'd rather watch Wallace And Gromit. At least I can appreciate the effort put in to it.

I f you really loathed Anime that much then you wouldn't have watched that icartoons from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s based on adopting specific looks and flow.  I see you're being ignorant based on how every peice of animation works off of stop motion.

And If it's all about the story I'd rather read a good book.

I'm surprised you're not complaining about the novels and comic books based in the ME universe.

They could have at least given it better visuals, jeez.

Also, no one speaks down about women in an era where they are quite literally all equal. This guy is out of date.

This is around the basic standards while it could be worse.

There's a good amount ill treatment like the leader of the Blue Suns with Aria in ME3.

It would be hailarous to me if Bioware complained about the visuals to the animation studio making this film and the studio used the 'Artistic Integerity' defense.

Sir, that is my childhood... in  one line.. especially Voltron, Transformers and Robotech/Macross.

Speaking of Macross the level of detail  the creatures put in the show is insane... the  Director and Mech designer studied Aerospace engineering.

We can throw Gundam into the list  as well when  the orginal Mobile Suit Gundam had its run on Toonami.

I reserve judgement till watch it though...

I grew up on them as well while their cells have faded and desorted over the years.  Heck I'm a hardcore Gundam fan and most of the UC series' looks are outdated compared to Paragon Lost.

Yeah the ink shading but  its still good to go back and watch it especially with the  level of care and detail the put in the building the unverse. I hope they eventually re-master them all and  especially after the release of   the  Gundam Unicorn OVA series which is done in the with modren animation techniques  but in the orginal art style... oh god its  freaking amazing to watch.

Agreed whole heartedly.  One of the great things about Gundam is thier attention to detail and impressive animation while the bad thing is that raises the standards pretty high for the other studios.

WB is keen on rebooting Batman (probably as a set-up for their forever-in-development-hell Justice League movie), and they made Nolan one of the producers, so that may be where he's getting that notion. Nolan has implied he's not going to be very hands on; just help when he can, if asked. Nolan's Batman is done.

As for Nolan's fandom, he's stated that he's read stuff that his brother and David Goyer have recommended him (mostly trade paperback collections of the character's most seminal stories-- for example, The Long Halloween and The Killing Joke), but he was never a comic book fan. Have no idea if he watched TAS, he almost certainly hasn't watched any animated Batman post-TAS, but he did like the 60s show.

Facepalm... When you encounter a word that has multiple meanings while retaining the same spelling then reading comprehension is critically important in order to determine which definition is the appropriate one based on the context of the statement in which the word appears. That is what "reading comprehension" means, being able to comprehend what the writer is talking about.

Actually I'm not using a straw man argument. I just stated that all movies based on video games suck. You retorted that many are just as successful as movies based on comics. I responded to your retort by asking if any had met with critical success and then went on to comment that only a few of them had been financially successful and that many had been financial disasters (both true statements), anticipating that you would insist that being well-reviewed was meaningless and would counter with an argument about financial success (which you did).

You responded by listing a few video game movies that were profitable (a fact I have already acknowledged in the previous post) and then insinuated that I was a "stupid jackass" for "not doing my research".

Explain to me how this is using a straw man?

It's also tough to retain the services of the same leading actor for a long series of films especially if said actor has received accolades for his acting in other films outside of the franchise like Christian Bale has.

Blue Protoss uses insane troll logic
http://tvtropes.org/...nsaneTrollLogic

He insults people yet he claims people are insulting him when  he has no argument or is asked to comeup with profs he can't find.
Yet he keeps beginning his phrases like that and swapping definition, (often opinion and facts ) so that he can keep replyin while havin no point at all. He's like the catalyst child in a way.
