It is a daunting task for sure. Never have I been Magnet-Pulled by so many Banshees before. I think I've only managed one or two full extractions in the last little bit.

I've done 5 full extractions on gold myself, and another 5 partial ones because someone is usually either not playing or far away from the LZ in PUGs.

This community goal will be a tough one.

Giving up so easily?

I'm giving it my best shot. I think I've done around 25 or so. I stopped counting at 10. I only did 2 on gold, the rest silver.

This is a really tough goal if this is true. Last time, we killed 7M moobs. I am guessing 100 moobs per game, roughly, so 7M moobs is 70,000 games. Full extraction on _all_ of those would get us less than 25% of the target.

When I did my Gold Run Last Night..full extraction..

5 silver runs against reapers since..one full extraction

two due to "who cares,I'm level 20" two due to magnet hands

the full was thanks to the player who kept calling me "Tali" (ie FQE) saving my character's jiggly bum-bum from getting brute stomped with 3 seconds left

Didn't it actually start at 10 AM PST? And doesn't it only go until 10 AM tomorrow? So it isn't actually longer, you just staggered it a bit so that Americans who work Friday could only really help Saturday.

Doesn't the earlier ending time on Sunday kinda cancel out the extra time window  though?

Bryan, seriously you guys cannot keep doing this. Every time you guys set up an extraction event you fail to explicitly say what qualifies. Then ya'll spend the weekend going back and forth here on BSN as to what you meant. By this time tomorrow you'll have changed what you mean by extraction again.

Start putting the extractions that qualify in parentheses next to the word Extraction.

I knew I should have take a screen shot of this weeks OP splash screen as proof of the lack of detail. It's one thing to keep yanking BSN chain but you're quite often deliberately misleading the non-BSN player base.

Stop it! This why I still don't trust you guys on the whole.

To be fair though, the time was actually shifted forward and shortened, correct?  Previously events started Friday evening and run to early Monday morning.  Now it has started on Friday morning and run to Sunday morning. It's actually shorter by a few hours, even with being shifted forward.

Yeah, I noticed the earlier start time, and as a European, I'm greatful for that. Even with the extra time, I still can't see it. I'm not sure if you play with your own friends or not, but by the sounds of it, you do. Trying to get to extraction with randoms, against reapers on gold is a tough task in itself. On top of that, we need 400k full extractions!

I agree with another poster in this thread that said it seems like the 'impossible' banshee killing goal we had before.

We're so screwed, even the most coherent random groups can't help Banshee grabs during extraction, sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. It would appear everyone is hording their credits or refuse to use missiles. Even bronze is a total nightmare.

Ive been doing silver to help with the team goal, even then the level of idiocy from average 360 public game is a little too much to handle.

Gold in PUG to full is near impossible since no wants to use rockets

Playing with randoms for the gold match may be tough, but once you've finished that, you only need to play on silver or bronze for the allied goal. Even solo play if you prefer that.

Instead of getting on the forums and posting how we can't win this, people should log in and kill some Reapers. (Assuming you're not posting from work or something.)

I like the variety of Operations. I don't expect to survive a Gold Reaper mission, but some Operations being easier, some harder means challenge for all. ok I might try a Gold Reaper on Dagger tomorrow...

I hope another Operation will be Bronze, then there can be Full Extraction against Reapers on Platinum :-)

Bronze solo is the way to go if you want to help. Quick and full extraction is easier than with randoms on silver...

I'll agree with most that this goal is most likely going to fail-full extraction 400k times against reapers yeah right. Oh well at least I'll get an N7 weapon.
