Yeah, but it would not change the fact that the people who are supposedly the problem(the PUGs who do not read the forums and need clarification) would still be a problem because they don't read the splash screens either.

It's as simple as saying "Guys. If you want a +1 Medi-Gel Capacity, we've got to do a full Extraction. Save a few rockets for the end and we'll be good.".

I know a few people who play for the weekend objectives (one group even spent all of that one weekend doing Reaper/Gold so they could kill Banshees) that were trying to contribute to this allied goal, and they had no idea it was full extractions either. They read the splash screen, may have even checked over the anouncement, but a lot of decent players aren't going to comb through a ****ton of forum posts to find this out. A lot of people who DO read the forums didn't know this until this morning or late last night.

I dunno what to tell you. It read, pretty clearly to me at least, as "full extractions" for the Squad Goal and I planned my game sessions accordingly.
Three Golds to ensure that I get a Commendation Pack.
Silvers/Bronzes for the rest of the weekend to get Full Extractions.

Add me to the list of folks who didn't understand it was FULL extraction. Did a dozen or so silver extractions yesterday, after doing my gold run for the commendation pack, and thought each one was successful. Turns out I was wrong. ARGH! Someone else posted earlier in the thread that the word "FULL" is not difficult to add, and would have eliminated ALL ambiguity. Not to much too ask, especially given how often folks are confused as to the parameters of each Operation. Folks around here, no less!

Sigh. Will try and do some Bronze solos or two mans tonight to try and make it happen for the community. Ech. Bronze. (when I started playing MP I NEVER thought I'd be able to say something like that lolz)

Is that from the blog or something (or an operation splash screen, of which I'll never see because I'm PS3)? Because Chris Priestly's official Operation Broadside post that is stickied at the top of this forum says:

Operation: Broadside begins at 10am PST on Friday July 13and ends at 10am PST on Sunday July 15.

So, does this thing end on Sunday or Monday? Bioware guys, you know I love you and I've got y'all's backs, but this is truly confusing...

Haha, I'm more concerned about the people posting saying "we aren't going to win, so I'm not going to try." That's not the spirit of these operations. I haven't been on BSN too long but from what I've seen, everytime there's an operation, there are always people saying "we can't do this." And then we do. So keep your chin up, have fun, and if we don't make it, shrug your shoulders and move on. But the only way to guarantee we won't win is to not try.

Last game before I have to head out. Carried a team through silver and despite being less than stellar teamates, the group managed to stay out of danger and not die, heck we even got the 10 wave no death medal. Then they follow that up by being grabbed in wave 11 after wandering away from me so I couldn't even missile to save them, all 3 were grabbed. RAGE!

This is never gonna happen. I played a few silvers for warm-up today and couldn't even get a full extraction there. The Banshee grabs are worse than ever--I saw a cloaked Infiltrator get insta-killed while in the middle of reviving.

But five medi-gels has always been more than enough for me, so whatevs.

I have to say, that is pretty stupid. I thought one of the goals of these challenge weekends was to help make the community active and play and work together? So now, if you are good enough to be playing gold, you are forced to choose between helping bronze/silver players get their commendation pack on gold where you will most likely get very few full extractions, or you have to drop down to bronze/silver to get more full extractions for the victory pack.

Yet again BioWare are vague with these goals, why do they have such a problem being clear with this stuff?

As for the goal... severely doubt we are going to get it. Annoyed that I spent all of my games as U/Reapers with the frustration of Banshees teleporting through walls and grabbing me while they were facing the opposite way and that kind of bull****. I could have spent those games playing U/U and at least had some variety.

With Platinum just around the corner, I'll take any boosts I can get. I'm sure there are people here who feel the same.

My thoughts exactly. I for one would love the medi-gel boosts. I hope they do a rocket cap boost too sometime soon.

I do think they went about this challenge the wrong way. If they were looking to promote more cooperation they should have kept the squad goal the same but had the allied goal been any extraction (solo, partial, full) but increased the difficulty to silver or gold. This would have promoted more players (myself for example) to actually coop rather than just soloing matches to get full extracts because some players just can't be trusted to not derp it up on wave 11.

I get the point Bio was trying to get at with this operation, but I really think they went about it the wrong way.

I don't see here word "full" squads. Squad with three or two people will still be squad. Again ambigious statement creates unnecessary confusion. Community goal was hard before that, now it's mission impossible. Exactly the same as banshee operation.

Vote me in as one of those who really really doubt the goal can be hit. Even if every one contributed 10 solo bronze runs and if there's 2000 people, thats just 20000 full extractions. If everyone did 100 bronze solo runs, then mayyyybe it might be possible.
