A quiet banshee is a dead banshee. That is the lesson I've learned.

People still ignore the greatest threats on the battlefield- Marauders & Ravagers.
Also, after several months of the game being out, apparently nobody knows that camping in the LZ makes enemies spawn closer to it.

Actually, I've found the opposite with Banshees thanks to Broadside.

Previously, I believed as you put. Be rid of their Barrier & they're a laughing stock but now?

Step 1) Get rid of their Barrier.
Step 2) Start working on their Armour.
Step 3) Realise that no matter what I press, their armour isn't going past the 40% remaining mark.
Step 4) Keep wailing on her until, finally, her immortality runs out & she dies soon after.

I don't know what's been happening but for the life of me I wish it wouldn't...

Where you playing as a Biotic? Can't say I experienced this. On the teams where we had focused fire on the Banshees, their armour went down pretty quickly. Although I guess stuff like equipment and debuffs like Tactical Scan and Prox Mines played a part as well.

Phoenix Adept, yeah.

GSMG with AP Ammo - no damage;
Smash with Armour Damage - no damage;
Lash - no damage;
In total - no damage.

It seemed no one else was damaging them either (despite everyone focusing them) once they got to about 40%, as they stayed there, carried on fighting, getting wailed on, until eventually they dropped below the mark & started to die again.

Not totally sure but I think once Banshee's put up their power shields (not sure what it's called) that they don't take damage from projectile powers. I may be getting that confused with Phantoms, which I definitely know is the case.

I've learned that don't even look at Banshees, otherwise they grab you, no matter where you are.

Also that Husks are ninjas and want to cuddle, I don't.

 Noobs don't know how to camp on certain maps. And they just made me lose on wave 9. that little L pipe is NOT a good place to camp

Oh god this.

While I feel that Condor is a map best suited to being on the move, if you are going to camp, why don't people do it at the top of the hill? Only two entry points and can be easily held by a good team.

- Marauder Melee has a 360 degree radius for this event. Don't even bother trying to run past it.  You will die and rage.
- Marauders are also ninjas with one goal in mind: to melee the everloving **** out of you from behind.
- Some players will never be ready for Gold. Ever. Never ever ever..  Forever ever?  Forevah evah?  Never.
- Marauders are now my second most hated enemy because of their stupid melee and space ninjitsu.
- Some players will actually thank you for carrying their team. They will usually be female.
- Playing without Medi-gel and/or low Cobra Missiles makes me feel like a scrub. I hate it.
- For every wave you manage to complete with a random team, the likelihood of them camping in the worst spot on the map creating a revive chain you can't possibly save them from increases by 90%.  Thankfully it is hilarious to watch.  Unfortunately it can get you killed once you realize no part of the map is safe because everything is scattered throughout it.

I've learned that Gold isn't nearly as hard as I remember it being, although that could have been due to having a half-decent team for the three matches we played.

Also, Banshees are ridiculously OP. On our third match all four of us were taken down by the same Banshee using it's stab attack from miles away.

Also, the Widow suddenly feels extremely redundant.

Mainly playing as Kroguard.

To focus on meleeing the banshee when she begins throwing warps(wont sync kill when she does).
Biotic charge + shotgun hit n runs against Brutes.
Hug the Ravagers, causing them to backpedal and stop shooting.
When a Marauder is up, kill it first.
Be the closest group member to the enemies to focus their fire on your never ending barrier.

I used to mainly play on Silver, but after this weekend, i might stick to Gold for good.

Charging a Banshee with Kroguard is still a good idea, no matter whet the PUGs scream through the mic.

That 2 Asari adepts, 1 asari justicar and 1 turian sentinal with a falcon and cryo ammo will cause banshees to explode in a few moments.

That the male quarian is now tied for my favorite infiltrator along with the geth

Sniper rifles need some love, perhaps a better damage bonus against armor or higher base damage.

Human and female quarian engineers rock now since they have been buffed.

Equipment cards should come in batches like consumables do rather than singles all the time.

A full team of biotics who are working together to pull off explosions makes it a cake walk.
Made me wish there was an adept that had both reave AND warp

edit: Also when a member form these boards invited me to help out on the gold I abit more about the game. Namely making banshees dropping people.

 That when there's an event requiring everyone to play on gold, that every time you try to do it yourself, at least one scrub will be on your team and botch the entire mission.

I played with three infiltrators and one level 20 krogan sentinel who will remain unnamed on firebase jade.  This Krogan sentinel used no powers except for ONE time he used incinerate.

He must have gone down about 18 times in the first three waves.  He never once had tech armor up and he was using the revenant and the crusader, though he never used the revenant.

When I see an overloaded with heavy weapons krogan sentinel in the lobby I don't kick him because I'm assuming he's maxed melee and tech armor and is just going to spam grenades and weapons.  I mean, that's what I do with the krogan sentinel and it works fine on gold.

But what are you doing overloaded with weapons that you don't use, not using tech armor, not having any health, and not even ever using any powers EXCEPT the one you should've skipped if you were going to be a krogan tank?

This is just one example of ineptitude I've seen in the game during this event.  I have to assume most of these players stick with bronze and nothing else the rest of the time.  I'm not even some super great player or anything, but in some of these matches I just feel like the only person who knows what they're doing, which isn't the case when I usually play gold.  Usually, there's at least one or two people in a gold match who are much better than me and more strategic.  No such luck during this event.

I'm about to start just leaving lobbies unless the people have a high N7 rating, because that's at least a pretty surefire way to spot the people who've played a ton.  Normally I'd never do that because some great players have low N7s because they just don't promote, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

1) Human Sentinel is OP
2) Stop wearing metal armor, magnet hands are too strong
3) There are a lot of really terrible players on 360
