If you read the Final Hours of Mass Effect you know there is not gonna be a sequence.

I honestly prefer it that way.  They're not going to tell you what happene to Shepard in the Destroy ending, nor are they going to contradict whatever epilogue you want to construct for yourself.  So if you want to believe that Shepard delivers on the promise made to Liara for a gaggle of "little blue children" more power to you, Bioware's not going to tell you that didn't happen.

Yeah, I'm okay with it. Especially since they've explicitly come out and said 'it's subjective, do you think s/he lived?' and not 'we know but we won't tell.'

We have six other endings where Shepard definitively dies.  They could have sparde one where Shep definitively lives.
