I think Leviathan would be better off getting the LOTSB treatment, seems like a more interesting story to me, but hopefully Omega will be good whatever they do with it.

I think it's safe to say Leviathan is in a league of its own. A rogue Reaper kinda demands a big scale to display.

Yeah, it's nothing we didn't already know.

Now we just know that it's official.

The scene doesn't mean anything, other than whatever you prefer to pretend it means. Shepard doesn't live, but you're free to imagine that he does if you want.

Closure is "Shepard is dead".  Closure is not "Shepard lives under specific circumstances in one of the endings" since that doesn't actually close anything, as it leaves quite a few questions unanswered: How is Shepard rescued from the Citadel?  Does Shepard retire from military service?  Does Shepard reunite with her/his LI?  Do they have kids?  What are the names of the kids?  What else does Shepard do? etc.

I mean, hell, the Control ending doesn't even deliver closure.  Since we never get to see what Computer Overlord Shepard says to its friends.

If it is dead in the water, Good. They just save themselves the embarrasment.

Theres one advice I can give when one thinks about making a movie based on a game: Dont. They never work out. Theres plenty of examples.

But I'm going home now, I live like ten minutes away from CC and UCSD gives all their lit majors free passes with their student IDs. I've been going in and out all weekend, just having some of my profs drop me off on the way to work ETC so I didn't have to bother with parking.

So they thought the endings were too bleak and added the Shep gasp (which could be her last gasp? Huh?)

I guess that somehow made BW feel better. I'm still depressed about the endings. Feels like RL grief for something I'm now ashamed of investing so much time in

Poor Shep. At the mercy of heartless developers that never will realize the good thing they created and then killed for no real reason.

I'm actually very very happy I didn't spend money to go to Comic Con - because this panel would've been really the only thing I would've looked forward to - and now that it's over...well....I saved money.

I'm also quite relieved not to hear anything about a movie. If it would have been about Shepard, so many would have raged about making male caucasian paragon Shepard with Ash=LI canon.

If they however were to make a movie, it would be awesome if they they just adapted the books. They've got Anderson, Kahlee, Saren, TIM -and no messing with canon!
