Well, that was a pretty weak show. They loved making the EC so much? Well duh. Why not make it in the first place? Like you know, they kinda promised with that talk about all the various multiplicities of endings.

And as for "closure"... No need to even mention that. But let's anyway. "We wanted to give people a beacon of hope... but maybe that's ol' Shep just busily dying beneath the rubble... people should just make up their own stories..." Yeah. Because the EC was for closure. Closure. Closure.

People ascribe these things to malice, but the plain truth appears to be BW has no idea what they're doing at all. Although, come to think of it, they DID get both Meer and Hale giving that big speech just to get people excited to compound the disappointment of that lovingly crafted Game Over screen. Either they're really madly in hate with ME players or the dev team is pulling in seriously different directions.

But there's more hordes now, with a new difficulty. Yeehaw. And that DLC thing they used as padding in the EC. Shep going solo under water. I wonder if it's gonna be less than a red cent.

And yeah, I don't need to have someone point out that BW hates us and wants to punish us because of people like me. I get it. It's stupid to get attached to a fictional world. Not even the authors do.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you haven't been playing multiplayer or partaking in the MP forums.

Biwoare always waits last minute to start talking about the dlc, earth dlc was leaked a month and a half ago, details only released 3 days ago. Rebellion dlc leaked month and a half ago, only 2 days till release do we get info about it. Resurgance was leaked a week after launch or so, about 4 days before release they start confirming and talking about it.

We MP fans have learned to know what to trust and not to trust with leaks, and if this came from the EC's own files, than 100% it is legit and it is only a matter of time.

Nope, Multiplayer got more love this round. I have a feeling we'll see more info in the coming month though.

You're absolutely right.  I don't play multiplayer.  I have no use for it.  I am not arguing that the Leviathan DLC leak is not legit.  I am simply  asking that Bioware be a little bit more forthcoming re: SP DLC.  I don't think we should have to rely on a forum user that has become a self appointed  de facto spokesperson to confirm any future releases from Bioware.  Isn't it their job to do so?  I stated in my post that we were promised "big things". That didn't happen.

Also, you stated that MP fans seem to have an inside scoop on developements, that is, you have access to legit vs not legit info?  When did you guys become a little more privileged than the rest of us?

When we stopped calling out every leak as fake all the time, also the leaks have happened like clockwork, always a month or so before the product is ready for distribution to get the speculation up.

It's a shame but it works really. You want more and more info and only till the last few days do you have it. Keeps hype up. Works well for us in the multiplayer forum.

I imagine that once the third SP dlc gets released, a fourth one's name will be leaked.
For a couple weeks we will be talking about it.
Then it gets hinted/announced by bioware.
Around a week or two before there will be a lot of info on whats in the DLC out.
DLC releases.

That's how it worked for MP dlc anyhow.

I mean don't you find it strange how every piece of DLC has been leaked to the indernet a month or so before being "officially" announced? Once I could believe, but these leaks have been so regular and the info so spot on, I find it hard to believe they come from anywere but Bio themselfs. I'll eat my (very stylish) hat if this isn't just a tactic to get us hyped up over DLC. And I'll eat it with mustard if the leaked EC files weren't put on there for the same reason.

I suspect it will be up on the official site in the near future, probably when they all get back from Comic-con. Hopefully this is indicative of a new cycle of hype, will probably start seeing screenshots and an official trailer popping up in the next few weeks. Still bummed that we didn't get a more solid announcement from CC though.

BioWare probably put any SP DLC on the shelf to work on the EC. Whatever we get we probably would have had a good few months already by the time it gets out. The muliplayer and singleplayer are two different dev teams. Whils the SP team could just nock on with what ever DLC plans they had the SP team had to make a choice: finish what DLC they had started or get to work on fixing the ending. Do you think they made the right choice?
