Dude, it's not our fault that the game deliberately puts the camera on her ass...or the fact that she's wearing a skin tight outfit in the first place.

It's a postioned shot framed for the establishment of the foreground. It is also utlized to prevent a violation of the 180 degree rule.

All the other characters are framed this way.

Quite literally almost every other character in ME2 has their backside pass in front of the camera at some point.

People only remember Miranda for it because "lawl she got a niec ass bro chk it out"
