Miranda: I'm hiding from Cerberus & The Illusive Man...

I have no idea how Mac Walters came to be in charge. His ability to communicate ideas is so poor it reminds me of things a depressed eighth grader might write in a bathrooms stall while under emotional duress.
It's riddled with mindless butchery and an inability to establish CORE THEMATIC MATERIAL.
He wrote the opening for example. I can imagine all my Shepards dialogue being said by Arnold Schwarzenegger in an action movie.
"GET TO THE CHOPPA!"

Numerous times I witness you posting in a thread that criticizes ME3, your first reply tends to be the same recycled handwave "nuh-uh, it's not bad" type of post. You are incapable of entering into a thread that points out the negatives of ME3 without doing this.
I think my posts are a little more elaborate/varied than that.
I don't think the endings are bad, so I express my opinions and challenge those that I don't agree with. If this annoys you then you should find a new hobby. <_<
Except you don't ever "express your opinion". All you say equates to "no, you're wrong."

So let me get this straight; Miranda is unable to afford a change of clothes because she's "on the run"...LadieGamer wrote...
She's now on the run from Cerberus, in 'hiding" so it's not like she can go shopping.
She is a master biotic god super spy. She can't steal someone's clothes? She has enough resources to track down her sister and fly all the way to Sanctuary but she can't find a change of wardrobe?
And that thing does not look like armor at all. Yes I know she wore that throughout ME2 but I thought that was just Bioware artists completely ignoring the whole "being shot by aliens" thing.
I miss the days of ME1, where every armor looked different, and everybody wore armor.

I do express my opinions. And yes I do call people out when they say things that I believe is incorrect.
You know, that's what most people on this forum do. But it doesn't annoy you because it doesn't suit your own agenda.

And no, "you're wrong because I say so" is not expressing your opinion.

In ME2, there are three female squadmembers. If you watch the cutscenes with each, you will notice that the camera angles on Tali and Jack are noticeably different than those used for Miranda. Theirs tend to be a "flatter" shot, where the camera is often shoulder height. Hers are different, and the wider shots are often from that lower angle that ends up (perhaps incidently) emphasizing her behind.Taboo-XX wrote...

OMG LOOK.
Seriously people, act your age.
Everyone else is shot from behind.
It's a postioned shot framed for the establishment of the foreground. It is also utlized to prevent a violation of the 180 degree rule.
All the other characters are framed this way.

Either one is emphasized.

But am I wrong? What I say doesn't suit your agenda. So when you see me posting, it annoys you. The fact that you've tagged me as annoying proves this enough.
And no, "you're wrong because I say so" is not expressing your opinion.
I never once said or implied anything like that. Not only are you a hypocrite for making your own assumptions about me after you criticized me for doing it, but now you're straight up making up ****.

Incorrect. A flatter camera angle - especially a front-on flatter angle (which is what we see most of the time) doesn't emphasize breasts. Flat angle side shots of a character do.Taboo-XX wrote...

And guess which character has more flat-angle side shots? (Hint - it's not Jack).

By the way, I got all of the 'plot armor' entries removed from Mass Effect on TV tropes, aside from a small one on Miranda in ME 2. They agreed with me. Liara does not have plot armor.

Go ahead. Is completely obvious that Bioware intended to submit a subliminal message. This does not happen to anyone else, and if it does, it's not done in a way that's clearly deliberate trying show someones ass. Also, you wanna pull out the "Act your age" card. Jokes are made about everything in Mass Effect, why your taking something, like a joke about a video game character so seriously is beyond me.Taboo-XX wrote...
Incorrect.
The scenes are composed to either the left or the right side of the frame.
This does not draw attention to it.
If you'd like, I could draw up a shot analysis and composition notes.
There is nothing, I repeat nothing, subliminal about Miranda's ass. Oh, and before the age issue is brought up, I'm 55, white, male, single and enjoy fine badunkadunks.

I can't believe people still think it's okay to talk about their views on T&A or internet posting etiquette in a thread created to question character motivations.
