Honestly I think it's an act to get attention. or I did in the beginning. Now, I'm just thinking he's a dip****. Definitely not a genuine cognitive disability or he wouldn't be able to type so well. I do however think he may be dyslexic.
Yeah. It's an act.

It's a good thing I cited a medical textbook a few lines down.Blueprotoss wrote...
Now I know you don't know what you're talking about when using Wikipedia as a source.
I did provide a well established medical text (on it's 16th edition) while you produced none. Medical journals go through what is known as "peer-review" go and read one. They use something called "the scientific method" and "statistics". Yeah I am making a strawman arguement; that you don't know what you are talking about. You're "facts" are not based on reality or established literature.Blueprotoss wrote...
Medical journals are just doctor opinion and you can get anything published whether you're right or wrong. Btw you shouldn't make a petty insult when I you most likely haven't got an article in a Medical journal as well, which a very bad way to cause a straw-mann.
Please show me one article or text that supports your stance.Yet I haven't used my opinions with you and this is neiher a debate becuase you're trying to cause a meaningless arguement even when transplant don't cure diaseas while they can ironically cause disease.
your stance is wrong because propective studies have shown great outcomes for people who do get it (compared to those that don't). As I have said before, I do consults. Meaning I am the second opinion. I'm not trying to say "believe me because I'm a doctor" I'm saying you should read up on the topic you wish to debate about before you look even dumber. I wasn't always a doctor, I read and studied my ass off. All you had to do was read up on one topic and it was too hard for you. That, or your pride would not let you come to grips with the fact you are wrong. How is my stance on transplants are wrong when they don't cure disease especially when someone becomes required to get multiple transplants with the same organ in their lives. You're focusing on opinion not the facts while I'm focusing on the facts not opinion. I'm hoping you aren't someone's 2nd opinion for a transplant decision.
Either way you come off looking like an idiot.

People with Asperger's can be quite intelligent and type very well. Same for OCD. I'm leaning towards OCD. Certainly the volume of his posting suggests an obssession with us and our topic. Also the way he keeps on repeating himself oblivious to any rebuttal.
Is the reason I stopped resenting his intrusion here. Not really into Special Olympics, even if it is on the debate category

Its not the pat calling the kettle black. We've backed up our statements NUMERIOUS times. You haven't backed up a SINGLE one of yours.
We are interested in facts. WE LOVE FACTS. You've yet to show any facts PERIOD.
I myself HAVE PROVEN THAT THANE WAS NOT INTERESTED IN DEATH AT THE END OF MASS EFFECT 2.
I proved that on Page 20 with direct quotes from the character himself.
Someone else showed DIRECT QUOTES from THANE'S AUTHOR stating that he DIDN'T want to die at the end of Mass Effect 2.
We've backed up our medical facts stating that a Lung Transplant would be more than possible for Thane EVEN THOUGH WE DIDN'T NEED TO BECAUSE CHAKWAS SAID IT WOULD WORK!
You've spouted nothing but "You don't listen to my facts" and ete WHEN YOU HAVEN'T POSTED ANY. I've made simple requests for you to post them and you ignore it and then complain no one is listening to you.
WE'LL LISTEN WHEN YOU ACTUALLY SAY SOMETHING.
*sigh*
So all those here, I'd reccomend reporting his nonsense to a mod.

If Bioware decided to implement the choice for a cure, it would be a choice.
Simply that. You wouldn't have to cure him if that's what you wanted. You could just pretend it never happened, like many people are already doing for the Extended Cut, for those who don't like it, and for the ME3 endings.
If it's about what you call Thane's self-sacrificing character, it can be made into a scenario where Thane doesn't want to do the treatment in favor of other patients, but if you romanced him, you can persuade him to do the treatment in time to save him.
