Here we are (amazingly) still on schedule! Chapter 49 has just gone up!

And since I cannot respond to guest reviews over on FF.net, I wanted to thank Gisle-Aune for pointing out my missing quotation mark last Chapter. I fixed it as soon as I saw the review. Good catch. Thanks!

No problem; those slips are probably easier to spot as a reader. As for ff.net, yeah, I'll use my account I have for reviewing there next time.

As your for your chapter, it was a good read -- as always. I'm looking forward to the next already, heh. There's one character not mentioned in the two last chapters that I'm a bit curious about, though.

LOL. It's definitely a long one. But nearing its end, I think. Maybe 10 more Chapters, give or take a few, I'm guessing.

Unfortunately, the holiday kept me from completing the Chapter I was working on in time. The upside is that since I have a four-Chapter buffer saved up, I can still release today's Chapter on schedule! And so, here it is!

I will just have to work extra hard to finish my current Chapter and the next one in time to rebuild my buffer before the next release.

I caught up! Miraculously. My buffer is restored, AND I can present Chapter 57!

And now, precisely on schedule, here is Chapter 58!

Here I am, once again, falling behind on my buffer. I really wanted to keep a four-Chapter lead throughout my writing, but life has been crazy over the last couple of weeks. And so I fall once again to three and a half Chapters lead.

However, even more than I want to stay ahead, I want to release my new Chapters on time. So, here it is! On schedule! Chapter 59!

Haven't made up the ground I lost yet... in fact, I'm even further behind. However, I can continue to release on schedule and I intend to! This is why I kept a buffer to begin with!

And so, here is Chapter 60!

The schedule continues! And the ending is getting so close I can take it. Here, on this fine morning, is Chapter 61!

Once again, I am on schedule! Only three more Chapters and two epilogues (or five Chapters, basically) left in the story! And here is one many of my readers have waited for! Chapter 62!

FF.net is taking a little longer than usual to update with my latest Chapter, but here is the link, and I'll test it to make sure it works in just a moment.

Chapter 63 is online! Even if FF.net hasn't added it to the dropdown on my story yet as of 5:26 AM...

Also, I am ramping up the frequency of my chapter updates since I've got all but a few thousand words written now. From this point on, updates will occur every third day, barring any unforeseen disasters.

Not that I'm complaining, but why the increased release dates?

Well, as everyone who is reading my story knows, I am several Chapters ahead in my writing. As of this morning, the entire story is complete. I didn't want to drop another 40,000 words on readers all in one day by posting everything that's left together, but that's the ONLY reason left to delay release of Chapters. There's nothing left to write, so it's not like I need the extra time for anything but editing now.

Well, I posted just a little earlier than usual this morning because I have things to do this morning, so I can already announce that Chapter 65 is now live! Just the two Epilogues left to go now! And thank you to everyone who has read the story to date!

Here we are again! Epilogue One has just gone live, and there is only one part to the story left, which will go up on Wednesday morning, barring any unforeseen mishaps.
