EDIT: To clarify for those who don't online game as much (because I got a PM asking), PUG = pick-up group. A group of randoms out of the lobby without inviting anybody yourself..

So who managed to complete the Reaper/Gold extraction today for this weekend while in a group of complete strangers? It took a few tries to get it done, along with a really close mission complete with no extraction (dead or dying group members), but all in all enjoyed the challenge of completing the challenge with PUGs today. Anybody else?

I used my Asari Justicar Adept today.

Had one successful group that had no deaths until wave 7.

Also, bought a Premium Spectre pack after the close call. Instead of two rares, I got two ultra-rares in the same pack. Paladin and Harrier. Hell yeah.

I used the Turian Sentinel. Was surprised at how well we did actually. We only had about 3 downs the entire match.

I'm usually bad at planning when I want to get it done, so I thought I would brave the lobby PUGs to get this one done. Pretty surprised that it didn't take me too many tries.

I did. Full extraction on the first run. I got magnet grabbed from twenty feet away toward the end of one of the earlier waves and the wave ten hack got a bit hairy, but everything else went fairly smoothly.

I had to deal with a few Vanguards who didn't carry any medi-gel. That's about as bad as it got for me today.

Well, if that's the case, then I didn't complete it.

Nah, we actually managed to finish one without even a partial extraction (i.e. mission complete but no extraction). For the squad goal, you need at least 1 player to extract, so you should be good.

I was an Ex-Cerberus Vanguard with 3 Asari Justicars.
Specced Smash for damage.
They all had sphere specced for damage/explosions.
Top of FBD.

I love public games. Sometimes I might have to pull the weight of my teammates or sometimes I just solo the whole thing as no one seems to join in.

So...yes, i did host pugs for the event. Good times.

You only need one survivor for the squad goal.

@OP I pugged my Gold and I feel sorry for my squad, for I have a delay when I try to move so I am easy fodder for a banshee, but I did my best with my MQE.

Nice, I had a failure on that one today. I ended up getting it done by hosting a game in Firebase Hydra.

It was really hard for me as I'm a Silver player, but we've got a full extraction on my fourth Gold run.

I did on my first try, but it was a good group. Ran into someone from the first time and he was good. Would have had full extraction, but a banshee got me from behind with like 10 sec left.

Yeah I did it. Used a Turian Soldier. Full extraction in the end.
I tried it several times before that one and didn't make it past wave 9.

I've done it, several times. Then I played a few silver matches to get some full extractions and contribute to the allied goal. Unfortunately, some idiot vanguard decided to charge away with one second left on one of the runs. Almost felt like reporting him...

thanks i had 5 failures yesterday so i gave up there and only completed it today

Me. Got lucky with two silver surfers that kept their head down most of the time and a jav sniper salarian. Gave the reapers a run for their credits.
