Yes, failure rate has been much higher during the weekend though, loads of people who aren't supposed to be there, for obvious reasons thats not their fault.

I only play pugs had a more then a few fails but helped 5 groups get the squad goal (time limits cause of work)

I did one using my X Cerberus vanguard, It was kind of tough I don't usually do public golds but we pulled through with a full extraction. My teammates were a Kroguard a salarian infiltrator and an asari adept or vanguard (she didn't use charge so i wasn't sure) I joined when they were starting wave 2 or at the end of wave 1 does anyone know if that will count against me? or do I still qualify?

I managed the goal on my second pug. The first was a disaster. Firebase dagger. I was running a justicar and reaving everything in sight--and at distance--but I don't think either of the two phoenix adepts ever used their lash to detonate...they were too fixated on smash. I was the only one in the hack circle during the second objective. Wipe on wave 7.

The second pug was a different story. I switched to a krogan sentinel with harrier and reegar. Wound up on glacier and successfully extracted. Glad I saved my last rocket for wave 11 though. Had to shoot it at my feet in the LZ with a banshee closing in from each side with only a few seconds left.

I placed last, with 45 or 50k. I consistently place 1st or 2nd in silver, but I can't carry a team on gold.

I pugged it and did somewhat ok, I also used my justicar (My main character and the one I do the best with.) .  I think 3 out of the 7-8 gold games I tried were a extractions with at least one of them being full extraction.  I somehow managed to get a pretty good team going and trudged on through the gold match with out any mikes or anything.  The only problem was that the banshees had it out for me and sync killed me twice in the round.  Once my own fault for being with in magnet hands range and the other she teleported through a wall and got me.  Fun tumes.

This was first proper Gold game, got dumped in one at wave 6 once before, while I was looking for Bronze. AJ Lvl5 to do some leveling up, didn't last long then everyone died.

Been playing more silver last few weeks, so a little nervous but ready to give a good try. FBW held fairly well, last one standing a couple of times, then got hack on wave ten at extraction zone. Mag hands killed me before I got to the hack. Then it went to **** on extraction, we were all down on the walkway I was down under two Banshees and a Brute with twenty seconds to go. I used my last gel and had to sprint the long way round as the ramp was blocked past multiple Brutes, Banshees and Ranvengers to get to the extraction zone. Didn't think there was any chance without getting shot down or squished , but somehow made it just stayed under cover for the five seconds.

Pugged all the time, first as Asari Adept and then Krogan Sentinel. Success rate... about 5 tries before a success. And after success, everyone leaves (I don't like playing gold...).

I play only with randoms. It's more interesting than teams full of 'pros' (boring). Did it as a novaguard on the first try and don't see any problem with it in general, since I do it all the time.

Just finished the objective with randoms about an hour ago (hope it still counts ) on my first try with human sentinel. Got full extraction as well, so that was a nice surprise. I was sure I'd go down multiple times per wave, but only got killed once by a magnetic banshee... Hate when that happens
Mixed reaction to the randoms really. 1 male quarian infiltrator carried the team all the way. He had almost double my score, just to give you an idea, and I came in 2nd. I more or less backed him up by plowing through the overflowing brutes and ravagers and keeping the marauders with their phaeston XXVIIIs under control. The other two however were more or less just soaking bullets. One human soldier kept dying and it was getting pretty annoying by the end to keep reviving him. The last one was a female quarian infiltrator. She just lurked in the back more or less, helping me kill brutes and doing objectives when necessary.
So all in all it went way better than expected for me, seeing as there are always people here complaining how retarded randoms are... Glad I wasn't totally useless myself as well (I never really play gold)

I'd done a couple of sucessfull FBWGG in the past as a silver player along for the ride when the host changed the settings. No farming for me; I was happy to perform ok and get out alive! Also made me do some reading here before this weekend's challenge.

Only play public, so it was always going to be a challenge, but used my strongest builds and gave them all they could possibly need. Then repeated failure, as team after team collapsed. Main problem seemed to be that they were under prepared with gear, and tended to rush off willy nilly. That never ended well. Sadly, I was top scoring in the losses. That explained alot!

Finally got the desired extraction using a Human Engineer (to my surprise) in what I think was a group of Silver player well prepared. We charged around like a pack of wolves - basic but effective. Still had all 5 missles left at the end of round 10. Just as well, we were a little eager to get to the shuttle, and I needed them in the last seconds. I didn't get top score: order had been restored!
Hectic, challenging and a whole lot of fun.

Suddenly silver seems quite straightforward!

Finally finished just now. Full extraction on Firebase Condor. Thankfully, the game was expertly carried by a human sentinel named daima14. I was also a human sentinel and did a bit better than usual because I stacked up the shield gear (stronghold V and cyclonic modulator IV). Being somewhat tank-y helped me to hang in there against the ravagers.

Although, I was taken down at one point by a swarmer.

I did it with a bunch of PUGs as well as players from this forum that usually don't play gold. I enjoyed helping players that would either greatly struggle or not make it.

Randoms are the real "pros". No control over spawns, classes, friends. Just jumping in with 3 random players and playing to extraction. More challenging than even soloing. You hear all the cries about using missile incorrectly! Unless I have to carry a wave, I never yank missile out and I'd say, half the time, don't even need them on wave 10. I'll use them if necessary. I got my missiles near max and they have been that way for awhile. So, guess what, I'll use my 5 if someone else doesn't. Get the credits any way I can!

 I did last night, I had been levelling up my adepts on silver ready for a hopeful biotic reaper gold run, but the PUG's on silver have been awful - much worse than gold. teams were wiping out faster on silver than the gold level teams were, which I suppose is nice that people are sticking more to a lower difficulty rather than ruining the gold ones. It got very frustrating, and then after all that all I could find on gold were mis-matched team mates on gold, no real team synergy ie focusing on tech powers, or biotics for group combos.

I figured I would give them a go any way and joined a match with an infiltrator, quarian engineer, and a sentinel, so I rolled out my FQE, ice maiden build with a hurricane and cryo ammo. In the later rounds I couldnt hope to keep up with other team mates damage(no weak enemies to freeze-combo other than a few husks), as I had no incinerate, but the turret and my hurricane took out brutes and ravagers pretty well with the 25% (or is it35%?) weakening effect to armour from cryo blast. I lined them up and the Infi knocked them down. Someone had Proxy mine going on as well, so our weapons were carving through armour like butter. Well, when they managed to stay alive..

I played probably the best I have done in a while in this match, I didnt have a high score, the infi took all the points, but I was always moving, out in the open and hardly ever got hit, I soloed brutes and banshees and led them away from objectives and made them chase me while team mates got the job done at the other end. I only went down once I think, and I must have revived at least 15 times(no joke, they died lots), I wouldnt have used my missiles  much either, but someone stood at the extraction point at the end and got swarmed(my self and the turian sentinel were kiting the opposite side of the level hoping to lure them there for an easier extraction, but hey-ho.). I think there was an awful lot of luck too, as the amount of times I had to run past banshees close enough to touch them was an awful lot, but I found that if you time it right between their animations and you are not lagging, I could double-back and run straight for them and past them before they could stop and grab me - though not when they are walking, never do it when they are walking.

I am not usually what I would consider especially good, i can do gold, but I am not a regular - and I can only just about solo silver with a shotgun infi. Last night I felt like a pro for a match.

I did a livestream with Snapwave on Twitch for about 6 hours. Didn't get the squad goal. Did a pug the day later, got the goal... the livestream was more fun though.

I did! I usually play Silver, because I get super stressed out on gold. A friend and I started a match and got two other great PUG players, full extraction the first try.

Almost my whole ME3 was based on PUG. In fact I satisfied both goals on my first gold reaper PUG. Not all runs end up well, but some do.

Pugged 3 matches successfully so far, one ending in a full extraction. Had to start entering PUGs as the asari adept though, regardless of what other characters had. Couldn't trust switching to justicar when there was already an adept because NONE OF THE OTHER AAs USED WARP OR THROW.

Got full extractions on about 5-7 Gold runs.

This morning did about 10 bronze just to help out the Allied Goal. I want an extra medi-pack...    not that I need it.
