Pugged 3 matches successfully so far, one ending in a full extraction. Had to start entering PUGs as the asari adept though, regardless of what other characters had. Couldn't trust switching to justicar when there was already an adept because NONE OF THE OTHER AAs USED WARP OR THROW.
Yeah, tell me about it. I usually look at the other classes and pick one that works well with their powers..and then they dont use their powers, or have happened to have put points into other ones. Thats why I like to play Drell adept and super-run between ammo boxes - self detonation FTW.

Not all that hard, but you do have to pick up the slack for others every once in a while.

Don't know why i did 3 rounds on gold. I hate reapers on gold. ****ing magnetgrabbing banshees everywhere.
After that i went on to promote all my level 20 characters and do bronze runs against reapers. Got a decent amount of full extractions there as well.

Took me 7 pug games in a row before I finally got Lone Survivor on Friday.
I played my Asari Adept. It was my first gold games ever, other than W/G/G which got me through the last gold event.
It was brutal and even though I was the lone survivor, the other pretty much carried me through the game.
I told them so and thanked them after the match and then left so they could hopefully get a better player. Then went back to my favored bronze to start racking up full extractions for the other goal.
When/if they do a platinum event, I will probably have to pay 3 excellent players to carry me through.

The funny thing was, when we started off, there was only one N7 level lower than me. The other two were in the thousands. After the high level N7s went down on wave 3, and we couldn't revive them (for some reason, they didn't use medi-gel) they left the match. Eventually, two more guys showed up and we all went complete beast mode on the Reapers.
We get out into the lobby, and I see that both of the guys who joined were under N7 150. Just goes to show, don't kick or leave the lobby just because N7 rank is low. Low N7 can kick ass, and high N7 can be horrible.
That game was great - no one had to be carried, we all ended up with pretty even scores. N7 doesn't show skill. It just shows how often you play the game.

I have to say, Drell Adapt with Grenade Gear V and no one else on the team using Grenades makes for one straight forward match. Asari Justicar was also really good. Reave is an awesome Power. Asari Vanguard worked well too.
*Usually play with Krogan, Batarian, Vorcha (Soldier and Sentinels there) and Human Engineers

All the rest of the times I went in to help others? I've never seen so much failure in all my life. 1 instance stands out. "Hurr imma play Asari justicar as a soldier and use absolutely no powers all game, then tell everyone else they suck when we lost."

With the last team, we had full extractions in all the games on gold without (and nobody used mike).
So it's not as bad as I often read here

I wonder what will platinum look like though. Probably like the first gold games

Actually, it doesn't even show that - it only shows how often you promote. My N7 level is around 350, and I promote occasionally when I want to respec characters and not use Reset Cards. I could probably have double that or more if I promoted all the time. There are guys who have N7 levels of around 200 who have played hundreds of hours and can carry Gold teams, simply because they only promote when it gets them a Commendation Pack.xPandaHunterx wrote...
Yeah, I got it with complete strangers on Firebase Giant with my Krogan Sentinal.

Anyway, I got Partial Extraction on my first Gold try (U/R/G that ended up being White). I was playing AJA with an AA, TS, and GI. The TS, the AA, and my AJA were working together detonating BE's very well. The GI was being pretty much carried, and we would have had a Full Cxtraction except he was on the other side of the map fiddling around and didn't get to the evac zone. No excuse for not being able to get there if you can cloak and run.

Yeah, N7 rating doesn't say a whole lot other than how many different classes they have played. To me, the only red flag is if somebody has a rating of around 20 and try to join a gold match with a level 10. I'm sure they can pull it off if they are great, but it just shows inexperience so most folks would rather not take their chances when using their consumables. =PxPandaHunterx wrote...

Loadout at least shows unlocks (which reflect on time spent, although a bit of luck also) and at least some basic knowledge of the class. If you see an Infiltrator queueing on Gold using only an assault rifle, I'd probably not have that much faith in the person, haha.
Also, for the love of god, if you are a Vanguard who absolutely must charge off away from the group without line of sight for us to support you... carry some medi-gel. Pretty please!
