So you beat Platinum with a Geth infiltrator and a score of over 200k when the next guy had 60k. Whats that I hear? Oh, its the sound of nerfers off in the distance crying for more Infiltrator nerfs.

HAHAHAHAHAHA oh and HAHA.

Funniest thing about this post? GP actually suggested nerfs to TC and the Krysae in the Balance all the things group/post before Bioware nerfed them.

@GP, thank you for the informations. Sounds very interesting, but im afraid that platinum is too hard for me. I struggle already on Gold so Platinum will just be very headache for me :)

I am so looking forward to crushing Platinum on Tuesday.

Make sure to save the King of the Goosh a spot.

Only 130k credits? How disappointing.

It's plenty. Enough for one Premium Spectre and one Jumbo Equipment Pack (or at least will be with time bonuses)

BioWare needs to add "Scrub" as a friend type for all proven members of Team AreleX :P Besides I don't need to get Gooshed as on Platinum it's fair for you guys to also have the Mightiest Goosh of all.

Congrats. ;)

From what I hear, I think I'll stay away from Plat. I'm a mediocre player and platinum seems like too much for me.

130k is cool, and it's low enough not to attract too many less-skilled players, at least in public games. Assuming that public platinums will be even doable.

Low enough for me to take some time on Gold anyway. If it took GP 35 mins on Glacier with Krysae GI, I can't even imagine how much time it would take me.

Hmmm let's see. 130k in credits. I would think this alone will entice Platinum players, skilled or not.

I have a hard time believing Platinum will be soloable with the new objective that requires you to crawl across the map with no cover, though I'm not clear on whether or not it shows up every Platinum match.

Not really no, atleast not the ones with any brains.
130k isn't worth spending 40+ minutes to maybe finish with a team of randoms, when one can play 2 gold games that are quranteed to finish in that time for 150k.

Does hunter mode also cut the shields the Cyclonic Modulator gives.

Hunter mode only decrease the base shields by 50 percent.

From the score it appears GP "carried" the team in a way. The team was not optimal for quick runs Glacier (Salarian Engineer, a Sentinel and a Vanguard). I'm sure with an all Krysae Infiltrator team or an all Demolisher Team (Presuming Homing Grenade sets off Tech Bursts, making an Arc Grenade --> Homing Grenade combo deadly) I can see a good, communicating team being able to squeeze the time down to about 20-30 mins with good use of rockets.

Also anyone else slightly tickled that BioWare spent all this time hyping it up as impossible and then Paladin just goes down there and smiles as he beats it in front of a crowd of thousands :P

It doesn't show up every Platinum match.

I don't know what they were thinking, unless they were using Batarian Sentinels or something.

They probably were using something similar.  The devs don't seem very smart when it comes to the most effective builds/weapons to pick for the harder difficulties.

BioWare should have known better, fans always crush 'the impossible' in fairly short order. :)

Regarding decoy, I found it no less effective than I am accustomed to; it still drew fire from mooks, still bottlenecked slow enemies, and could still briefly snare Banshees and phantoms if placed right.

It did seem a little less robust at times (spec shields, shock, explode), but it might have been taking atlas rockets to the face. Nonetheless when a team doesn't have a solid combination of damage dealers to keep enemies occupied, an extra target on the field helps ease the pressure.

Not to belittle GodlessPaladin's and Cal-'s awesome achievement beating Platinum, but I don't think extracting a "Lone Survivor" extract is proof that Platinum is easier than expected. Also, I've never heard the "impossible" rhetoric being thrown around in regards to Platinum difficulty, just that very few people have ever progressed far.
