 Just because they added the breath seen to add hope in the ending, why do so many people decide its fake. I could see that in thier profile ignoring the things that this scene implies. I just don't understand why so many people get angry when people do decide to take the meaning of the scene as Shepards survival.

If they were so hell-bent on killing Shepard, they should have just ended it when Shep and Anderson sat down. It would have been a lot better than starbrat and RGB.

I'd be glad if Shepard died and the ending was good. But since the ending is crap, at least let him live.

It's because bitter, irate fans want to continue being bitter and irate until they get everything they want spoon fed to them.

So they construct the worst case scenario from what they're given, and then turn around to Bioware screaming, "LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!!!!"

Finally Helper donned the troll mask and said, "You clowns want to be miserable?  Fine.  It was Shepard's last breath.  Problem?"

Kinda funny how the rallying cry was "It's our story too!"  Now they suddenly don't want it to be their story.

who cares? alive or dead we'll never hear from Shepard again. So I like to think he lived in the destroy ending and galaxy was rebuilt and we moved on a shell of our former selves

Well my Shep's alive, no question. That was clearly the intention, and clearly the implication. If your headcanon is different, that's fine, but it doesn't invalidate mine.

That aside, I simply believe that Bioware will continue to chip away at each other ending (Leviathan DLC crushes Control Ending, since Reapers can rebel). Now, they want to take away all positives about Destroy, until they have successfully shoved Synthesis down all our throats, true to their 'artistic vision' that Synthesis is the desired 'perfect' ending.

F them then. Hell if im chosing green people. Shepard was destined to destroy the reapers no matter the cost. Thats what he did in my game.

Not really, all that was said is that it is possible that Shepard is alive, but it is also possible it's his last breath.
