Cutscene issue - playing in the wrong area?

I have a cutscene between three NPCs.  It's meant to be triggered as the PC approaches a house, and overhears the conversation inside.  The trigger is in one Area(let's call it Area 1), outside the house.  The cutscene takes place inside the house which is a separate area(we'll call that Area 2).

The cutscene seems to work just fine in the toolset.  It looks like the right area and all (Area 2).   When I cross the trigger, the cutscene plays but the stage is place in a random part of Area 1.  The characters are there, it otherwise plays normally, but in the wrong place.

The cutscene properties have the area specified, and has Area Required set to TRUE.  I thought adding Area 2 to Area 1's area list file would force Area 2 to load, but it didn't help.

If I put the trigger inside Area 2, the cutscene runs normally and in the right area.  Sadly, it doesn't make sense in the story  for the PC to already be in the house when this conversation happens or I would just leave the trigger there.

Anybody have any idea as to what I might have missed?

On a side note: the initial trigger for the cutscene, which has been removed from Area 1, which has then been re-exported numerous times (each time with an Empty Export Directories first), and even manually deleted from the folder on one occasion before re-exporting, still goes off when I walk across where it used to be.

I might be wrong but in my limited experience it appears that the cutscene trigger must be in the same area as the actual cutscene. You may have to jump the player into the inside cutscene area and just leave them innactive (invisible) and then jump them back outside when the cutscene is done.

This is one of those cases where it would be really nice to know how BioWare did these type of things in game in DA.
