Well I never played the game on the higher difficulties. I tried to have everyone on my team for some time. I'd rotate everyone, even Jacob.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...

I actually didn't find Miranda too useful with my Vanguard Shepard. I always thought the tech powers were more useful in 2.
I'm a Vaguard, and she was VERY useful to me. Two Biotics are better than one.
Omega dlc confirmed!

Tech powers were far better in 2 (Except the Engineer's drones, perhaps). No argument there.
If you played a class that could use Warp'Splosions in some form, Miranda was probably the best squadmate to have.

It certainly worked for my Vanguard.

Admit once and for all that ME3 is a REALLY good game!
Yes! The ending is disappointing to many... Yes! It has many bugs and flaws like any other video game of its generation... Yes! It's not as RPG oriented as its predecessors...
But the combat system is extraordinary, the battles are legendary, the characters are awesome and the overall trilogy is a masterpiece! For instance, I played more than 300 hours on the multiplayer and another 60 hours on the single player campaign. I still want to get my platinum trophy as soon as my obsession for multiplayer dries up...
I still expect more multiplayer and single player DLCs. I will gladly pay for them as I already have had a bang for my bucks. All of you who have invested more hours of game-play per $ invested in the game and that are still spitting on it or on Bioware need to make a serious reality check!!
I personally wish to congratulate Bioware for such a great game and I implore them to keep giving their 100% in producing quality and quantity of games in the ME universe! Cheers!

why not both?
Becuase Miri is my LI. And Tali is already in my Squad for crying out loud. Team Dextro, the VS, and Liara, have enough content already. Give me a break.
Miri is my LI too.

On topic, I would pay for DLC that had Aria as a squad mate, even if for a short amount of time.

Probably a short time. We don't need two asari.

Or we could get an ME2 squadmate package that lets you work with them for a mission. Other than their existing missions.Taboo-XX wrote...

The "other than" wasn't all that necessary. You're already not working with them.

Don't worry, I'm sure we'll also get a new gun, too. And if we're really lucky, perhaps one new outfit.
But seriously, even with the EC, I can see why many aren't that excited. No matter what, it'll get boiled down to EMS and have no real consequence.

Yep. One of my biggest disappointments with ME3 right there. I get that they could all be dead, but it really makes it look like Bioware took the easy way out when most of the ME2 squad got what amounts to cameos. Even teaming up for just the one mission where they appear would have been a huge step up from what we got. Several of them didn't even have good reasons for not rejoining the crew.
